i already have regrets about r3ing omega red, since he and all the other great characters will get benched for 3rd-raters.

game's turning into a trophy case, where you collect but can never use and the mode's become a vehicle for churning out rankups and wasting catalysts.

5 bans + 2 for the blacklist.

imagine doing magic thief without these champs. i probably didn't pick the best ones that cover the most ground, but if someone smarter picked them they could shut down the most viable options for the hardest fights on the map.

they really need to increase the size of the attacker pool and bump up the average champ strength a lot so we have options. 7 bans does not look fun.

The increase in bans is only on the elite map. If you aren't playing in tier 1 it will not affect you in any way. This is a way to tune the tactic to be harder for the alliances gunning for podium without making it too hard for those below t1. If t1 alliances need to ban herc/ghost/corvus, it doesn't leave much room to actually ban tactic attackers in the first season of a new tactic (especially bc the carryover blacklist usually does not align with a new tactic). And this tactic looks like corvus food so far.

Also, we don't even know the attacker/defender pool yet. It could be the case that there is a surplus of fun and useful attackers such that t2 and below have plenty of options for both seasons of the tactic but t1 needs more bans to keep the death count competitive.

If it’s anything like the last one where there is legit 1 or 2 good counters to a fight+nodeset and you can ban 2 extra champs.. very obnoxious. Imagine 49 bullseye if you could ban sunspot toad iceman apoc and still have 1 remaining. It’s just extremely unnecessary to take away 7 champs from being used.

49 Bullseye has been soloed by bishop, sunspot, man-thing, weapon x, domino, corvus, kushala and sorcerer supreme and possibly others. There are more options than you mat think. Plenty of those would not be tried in a lot of alliances. By the end of the second season of the tactic the top teams were starting to clear with 1-4 deaths per war, which is a lower number that kabam was targeting. We will know the champion pools soon and can decide then how onerous the bans will be.

You can always use Superior Iron Man, who is in the attacker pool but will not get reworked in time for this new Saga. Ahah

Domino and sunspot usually banned. Kushala was blacklisted but nice try. I would pay money to see manthing or Corvus soloing polka dot bullseye. Point being, adding 2 bans bc they messed up and made the global far too easy is dumb.

At least bullseye and serpent aren't on the defense tactic and you don't need to hit light attacks into the opponents block either. Still not going to have the best time, especially when the 7 top champions are going to be banned after this season.

Tactic champ pool is already small and then you remove the 7 best. War has become a joke.

How else do you guys want them to make things more challenging for tier 1 AW?

This doesn’t affect me in the slightest cause I play like tier 6-8 lol but they already created a separate map for tier 1 and still didn’t get the challenge they were aiming for. They have to try something else
