want to set AW in my alliance to intermediate

so do you change easy mode in AW to intermediate? do you have to be a certain level or any requirements first? my alliance is map 8 for AQ and I want intermediate in AW..

I want a REAL challenge to test my limits to its ultimate max..I want my mental health to manifest curse words at me for pushing past its limits..

You don’t get to choose which Tier Map you play on in AW.
Your Tier is based strictly on your Alliances War Rating, which then is divided up into % based ranges among all alliances.

And then the Tier Map is based on that Tier.

(In game somewhere you can see what % range falls into each Tier Map)

Occasionally you may end up playing on a Map 1 above or below your technical WR % range, if you got matched against someone just on the other side of that Tier boundary from yourselves. But that is not known until Matchmaking has finished and war starts.

(I think this had a further subdivision of Map difficult in the very upper levels, but otherwise is accurate for the rest of them)
