**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Rank down tickets ???

Me and many of my alliance members have ranked up champs solely for diversity reasons for AW in the last few months , if diversity is only gonna be used for a tiebreaker and less impact of the outcome with new AW scoring system it would be nice of kabam to give out a few rank down tickets , maybe one for 5 star and one for 4 star , thanks .

  • What’s the deal with RDT’s? Even though I’m not a fan of them, they should only be distributed when there are major changes to champions. Other than that, we shouldn’t get them.
  • Agreed but most of my alliance were ranking for diversity because New AW scoring system was broken and it was always coming down to diversity so having 50 diverse champs in each bg with high PI levels were crucial for the win

Aw is just a format that will never be ready, its your fault to rank up just for diversity, they have all alone stated that aw is not final atm....
  • I guess your right , 1 or 2 tickets would still be generous of them though

Some of us in stronger alliances has ranked more than 1 or 2.
5 is fair, for each defender.
If you wanted to play in tier 1 of alliance war you had to rank up diversed champions.

And if keep using those champions as defenders, we can forget about tier 1. So we wasted resources without getting compensation for changes of meta in alliance war; basically we got punished for it.

It would be nice, but it is not going to happen.

The bottom line is that you rank up based on your best judgment at the time, but you must understand that the game is subject to change and your best options for rank up might be different tomorrow. The game *deliberately* asks you do choose between ranking up today to improve your situation today, or save the resources and rank up tomorrow when better options might exist.

When you say that you ranked up because of some reason, and now the reasons have changed, that's specifically intended to happen. Players don't like it, but it isn't an accident or a side effect. Its very deliberate that sometimes players regret their rank up decisions. That regret is what makes the rank up decision meaningful and not just an automatic decision.

Defender diversity was nerfed a long time ago. They toned down the points you get for it within weeks of the initial release. That made it a minor issue, not something that you should design your war strategy around. They then told us that this was still a work in progress, meaning there would be more changes.

Not only that, they told us that they intended to come out with new seasons of AW every so often, just like they do with AQ. So they gave us warning that War will always be changing, and we'll always have to adjust.

Ranking up champs you don't need seemed like a good idea for about a week. That's it. So any champs you didn't want to rank up after that are on you.

It's in such demand, it's insane that Kabam isn't offering them, even at a small amount. It's quite disappointing actually. Even once a year. If people know that RDTs are eventually put out, people are going to be more willing to try certain less popular champs at a higher level.

Thats why they should never release them....

The game was never meant to have redos like this, those things were a curse.

And some of us haven’t ranked any champs for diversity. They are for champs changes only. Not content. Kabam has yet to make an official aw format so ranking up for an unfinished version is on you

As was stated, the Tickets are for changes to the functionality of Champs, major changes, and not for changes to content. People Rank who they want for their own reasons. If they were to ever return, they would only be in the event that changes like the nerfs of 12.0 occur, and they will be Champ-specific Tickets.
Also worth noting that Diversity is still a scoring mechanism.

If you change meta it is same as changing champions.
Kabam made a mistake and they know it. Big part of community want rank down tickets with a reason. Give people what they want. For those who doesn’t want them, you don’t have to use them.
