The whole “don’t use it” idea isn’t the point . No one asked for this and the quick heal is prioritized over what we would consider normal healing, using the items we want. The quick heal is pretty useless tbh
counterpoint: insta heal function does kinda suck, but it's worth it for the Prefight Access. can't count how many times I've taken WAgs into a fight where he was just the backpack...

It's crazy, the usual revive heal button is still there, just use that? It's not like Kabam have taken away that thing which already existed and still exists? Yall whining for random things instead of much important ones.
The implementation of the button is hinky. Especially if you have a champ with pre-fights. The buttons are too small and close together, and and not quick at all. AND they didn't implement this change everywhere in the game. You can still heal old way in a couple places, and it is much more user-friendly and could still support the quick heal.
Confident this will get me some “that’s not how it works, I’m a developer” counter arguments, but this was presumably done with work hours that could have been spent on something else.
Like striker whiffing. Or janky controls. Or any of a host of other items. Or picking up pizzas for the team working on actual bugs.
Who knows whether there was a nominal amount of time/effort spent on this? Who knows whether the staff that worked on it could have been used elsewhere? Ultimately, it isn’t something anyone (to my knowledge) has asked for or complained about, and complicating the UI makes little sense, especially when it increases the possibility of burning extra valuable resources (farewell, 100% revive).

Regardless what, this is a win for me. Far cheaper than just buying revive potions. Look at this picture I sent above.
