Why can’t you unselect a victory shield?

This is so dumb, if you accidentally click it you can’t turn it off. Shake my head. This is so unintuitive. Or a yes / no confirmation button?

Think of it like a pre-fight. You can't de-select those either. On one hand, it would be nice to have a confirm button, maybe an option that players can toggle it on/off like other areas of the game.

Can't u click on the shield itself and turn that off. Wasn't that something or has it been changed??

The only way to not use one if you select it is to cancel out of the matchmaking. Otherwise, you have the shield for that match.

They need to add the ability to toggle on and off.

Does cancelling out of matchmaking really cancel the Victory Shield status ??

As of some seasons ago when I wanted to do this (I had enabled Shield in plans of doing an Elder's Mark match, but then something else came up and I didn’t go thru with the matchmaking).

The usage of the Victory Shield was still “active”, and so later on when I came back (had enough Energy to use instead) the Shield was still up and was in place for the Energy Match I did instead.
Could not figure out a way to have turned it off.

Pretty sure the shield stays active until it's used.

Yes, the Shield stays active.

Almost a punishment if you clicked to use, spending units or BG tokens.

Kabam should give an option or if we click again disable the VS.
