Kabam are for some reason hell bent on bringing the most average champs as 7*s. - Misty is a hard pass - Ihulk is not for BGs but he has some nuke potential in quests, but if it's an omega style event I don't think the whales will care about a champ that won't help in BGs - man thing and punisher are the ones that will have some major defensive potential - I don't think people that have a 7* venom will care for venompool - Mags house of X is irrelevant
Time god none of em enter titan pool and saturate it. The only champ that appeals to me is venompool, Others are mid imo.
Man Thing is a good defender still, Pun 2099 is a very underrated power controller and will be a menace to fight with block pen stat focus. Misty may actually be good with crit damage stat focus

That's why I said "imo". I rate a champ based on two things - Will they solve a particular problem/provide a specific utility. - are they r2 worthy?
Man thing can be shut down by many things - nullify immunity, poison immunity, debuff shruggers, armor break immunity, buff immunity etc. Pun won't inflict too much damage even with block pen. I rather have him for his power control. Misty isn't a tough defender eitner, Just bait sp1.
Again this is my opinion others may find them usefal, But the general opinion seems like most aren't excited about this pool.

People underestimate the stall potential iHulk has in BGs. Placing my r5 Ascended iHulk on defense has always guaranteed me the round if I don't screw up thr fight I'm dealing with.

I agree with almost everything said here but half of the champs with those immunities will either time out or go over 60 secs easily so you're not really shutting him down. Man-Thing is a complete tank when you don't have anyone who can deal damage through anything other than crits.
As for offense, if you run max MD he might be able to do some nice stuff. I rarely use my r5 on attack cause he is slow but a 7* would probably be a different story.
MAN-THING I know nobody's excited about him but maxed md Man-Thing is so much fun for me, excited for P2099 as well.
Yeah he's also quite underrated as well. Plus he's a menace this meta too because of the armor ups, armor break immunity and tankiness
He is a bit underrated but at the same time his damage isn't the best on non buff heavy matchups so it's understandable. A 7* however could potentially change that due to increased stats and all that but I still think he'll be a defensive threat mainly.
P2099 could potentially be double threat with block penetration though, and crazy on attack with collar tech.
Even if Kabam has a lot of middle tier champions, that does not mean to have to release all of them as 7*.
As a pool of a Omega-Days-like event, I wouldn’t spend so many units for one of these champions. And with my recent luck, I won’t anymore even for 3 interesting champions in a batch of 6.

Love having Venompool there.. should of been in launch pool. Absolutely doesn't need the dupe (almost the most useless dupe ability in the game). Manthing is a W, Punisher 2099 and Misty will be a pain with blockpen on def.
These are the perfect champs to come as 7 stars. Solid kits, not insanely sig reliant, could do with a little stat bump and would benefit a lot from stat focus. All of them fall into the camp of good but not worth rank up resources for everyone as some others are, so getting a rank 4 without having to spend anything but gold would allow more people to figure them out, ala wong and a few others.
Would love a punisher 2099, man thing, misty or immortal hulk and wouldn't turn down white mags or vp who was the r3 that got me to throne breaker
Of the 6 only 3 will be the next saga defenders lol.
We had OS.LS.QS.Moleman.OR.Corvus in the Omega Event and guess who are now saga defenders? OS.QS.Moleman. If I had to pick I would go with man-thing.misty and pun2099 as the saga defenders.

Next season the saga is mutant mystic science tech (no skill cosmic), So pun99 mags man thing and hulk would be the saga guys probably
You guys are still just assuming they're either next month or August. It could very well be even later than that as the post only says future. For all we know they are this years banquet crystal champs like lifted Guardians.

Out of all I'm only happy about punisher2099 getting "pierce" stat focus, his undexable specials damage on block is already nasty
