Victory shield not working

It doesn't matter how I press the shield it won't activate a victory shield and I NEED them now.

Are you pressing it from within the next screens, the actual Find Match screen once you have already decided on whether you are doing ENERGY or ELDERS MARKS ?

Not from the HOME screen of BG that are all of the Panels.
