Can you still claim them from the milestones tab even if theyve already went poof from the stash?

    YES.
    So long as they are in some screen you can access, you can claim them.

    You’re probably talking about long-running Objectives, where although technically their Stash period is only 7 days.
    But since the event is 28 days (or such), yes just claim them later on from Event listing itself.
