Is Hulkbuster Bugged?

I was so excited to take him to rank 2 but I’ve had a lot of weird fights with him where he doesn’t become unblockable on his special 2 into block.

This has happened against Scarlet Witch and Silk as two examples (which, to my knowledge, shouldn’t be able to render the unblockable special 2 into block useless).

Anybody else have this issue?

    SW was just a test run in RoL. Silk was in BGs.

    The bg fight against Silk is likely the power snack node. Hulkbuster’s unblockable on special attacks is a buff, so it can be nullified by the node rendering it perfectly blockable. ROL SW I have no idea beyond a potential guess since there’s nothing in that fight that would prevent his unblockable from working. Are you by chance missing the first hit of sp2 and expecting the beam to still break SW’s block? Hulkbuster’s unblockable buff on special activation only lasts 1 second (except sp3), which for sp2 only covers the first shoulder charge hit and not the three beam hits afterward. If the first hit whiffs there’s nothing stopping the defender from blocking the rest of the special.
