    As Edison said, you can get notifications via turning on star icon (bookmark), for cases if you had not ever commented within the thread before.

    But that person has already commented in here, so even without “bookmark/star” enabled, they get notifications.

    Can only turn off (“ignore”) a person, not a thread.

    With how some were (intentionally or not) mispronouncing Kāmala's name as Kamāla, thought it would have been cool to see them do a Comic style Campaign Ad, her dressed as Ms (Kamāla Khan) Marvel style outfit, and saying “Well, if they want to call me a superhero, I’m fine with that 😀”

    (just with vaguely similar colors/patterns, to avoid actual Marvel copyright)
