Negasonic might have a chance after all

So we just got the latest update on the next Rebalance and turns out that Spunk will be getting a tune up for damage in shorter fights.

This is a good step on the right direction given the chaos the Serpent rebalance created on forums and elsewhere.

We might actually get to see Negasonic have get some small tweaks to make her a practical option in BGs as several other champs that are not necessarily counters to the skill defenders do her matchups much faster

    It’s possible. Negasonic is tuned to be a 3.5/5 attack champ, a target that she doesn’t hit imo but still, idk if they’d tweak her. Punk was supposed to be a 4.5/5 which he definitely wasn’t hitting

    I hope so. She is just too slow in BG’s. And if Punk is getting buffed to fix his short fights I sure hope she does too.

    What you need is to be able to reliably dex his whole sp2 and you're fine with her. Having a high sig NTW is also nice since she will be counter evading bullseye a lot, gaining a lot of incinerates quickly.

    Her problem is she doesn't turn off crit so Bullseye will still chip her down if you let him hit in your block such as with his sp1. Also the sp2 will stun you so need to fully evade it.

    Yeah theres no way Negasonic is a 3.5 when you consider Serpent being a 5 on defense. Everyone drafts (or bans) Serpent because he was advertised to be the ultimate defender. Negasonic was advertised to be the ultimate mutant that shuts the skill class down,but you hardly ever even see her in peoples decks.

    I think a 2.5/5 would've been more appropriate for her as shes clearly missing the mark.

    I don't think negasonic is going to be buffed. Lots of big CC'S are saying her damage is fine and I know the rebalance team loves to avoid doing work as much as possible (WE ALL DO). Keep in mind those CC'S all have her at r3 🤷🏾‍♂️.
    If her damage was more she'd kinda throw bullseye around and I don't think kabam wants that to happen. Negasonic is not a perfect bullseye counter, there are still things you have to play around and one mistake will ruin everything which I think is fine. But for ANY OTHER MATCHUP where she doesn't have class advantage she is very terrible damage wise at least.

    Point is, if it doesn't get as much uproar from the community kabam will think it's balanced (excluding defenders we already know that by now). And kabam are most likely gonna use "the silver sable is the WORSER OF THE TWO" excuse to not touch NTW. I don't think she's getting buffed unfortunately but if she was I'd be very EXCITED because I like the champion and she's not getting an iso out of me as she currently is.

    For negasonic I want some kind of combat power rate increase by any means because after sp2 you need to rush to sp1 to refresh the incinterate and repeat you can never feel comfortable to go for sp2 again because then you have to rush to sp1 again this is what making her stressful you can never get the full potential of nega in a bg matchup
    So maybe you can reduce the stack to 30 incinterate while increasing the potency same as shuri buff and sp1 or sp2 gives her a energise passive so she can comfortably go to sp2 again and give some for ability on sp3 too but i don't know what you can give in her sp3 though

    She's not design perfection, she's just performing as intended. She really isn't that bad and there are a lot of instances where she shines

    Wasn't she designed to safely counter the biggest skill defenders? I think the price you pay for having a greener healthbar is less bonus points for time taken.

    I was going to say you can't have everything when it comes to champion balance but, I guess Serpent exists 😂
