Can someone help me understand what is going on here? Serpeny fight

I'm in gold 5 war. Their boss was a duped serpent. My alliance doesn't care about war so we can fight whoever we want, even if we die multiple times.

I fought him once with Doom, lost, again with Doom, and lost. Then I had Sinister. I built to a special three, fired it off, and he died. His death immunity didn't kick in. Any ideas why? I also don't run assassin's for attack. I just don't understand serpent's kit still.

    Ok I will. I thought Serpent was immune to ability accuracy reduction. I just can't comprehend anymore. It's gonna take me awhile though to get t6cc tech though.
    He has 125% aar on his death immune so u got a lucky roll dont always expect it though

    Understandable. The game is hectic nowadays, witj lots and lots of champs and abilities to remember

    That's what it is! I've done sinister before and it hadn't work.
