Can I swap mastery setup after starting a quest?

I am exploring Act 8.2.6, on the path that requires willpower and recovery to be disabled. Can I run the path with my normal setup, then swap to a different setup when I reach the boss? Or disable willpower in my current setup after I reach the boss? Thank you.
