Ah yes, 750mil mileatone which includes the worst rewards such as, 9k 7* shards, 1 full t4a, 2 t6cc selectors, twice the number of elders marks normally obtainable from completing all alliance event milestones, and 52k trophy tokens. Yes, those are definitely the worst rewards we have ever seen, not including the rank rewards you can get and the alliance event rewards that are still available, all at the high cost of 3750 points.

I'll just say, for those who are more casual and just go for 400k points, that's a lot more rewards you're getting from this realm event, than you would get on your own.

Also keep in mind that these realm rewards are not progression-gated either. So UCs, Cavs, TBs, Paragons, and Valiants all have access to the above mentioned rewards. It is worthwhile to do your part and contribute.

we don't care about UC Cavs TB and Paragons
Maybe you forgot, but at one point you were also one of those progression levels. Bet you would have loved t4a then.
To be fair... I made a short comment about this.. and the answer is no, by the time a UC or a Cav has some actual use of that T4A it will most likely be widely available...
I have a Conqueror alt that I used for gifting back then with a bunch of higher mats 🤣
I am not saying lower progression don't matter though.. just saying T4A is not something to look foward for them, it helps but its gonna be in inventory for a long long long loong time before it matters.
It's not just about the t4a though. Anything and everything else in the milestones are great for lower levels.

I am not saying is not; but players in my position have no use for the first 10 milestones, and lower progression players have low to none incentive to push us to the last milestones.

Solo milestones, rewards, and EMs shouldn’t have been taken away… just not the same motivation to chase it when the rewards will end up being less at this pace

This post update AI’s passivity is brutal too. Hard to intercept a turtle

Remember that pace of progress can change. I believe we’re at 110M when I got up on Monday morning, US Central. Now around 185M after 36 hours…

Another win for communism! Great Success!

Technically, the Realm events are socialism, not communism. Strictly speaking, if the realm events were communism the players would collectively control it, and the rewards would be distributed to the players who need them most, not evenly.

What's next? Are you going to call out alliance events for promoting feudalism?
Yes people always forget how Mao, Stalin and Kim Jong ill were always giving to those that needed it most.
    That's why players need
    "Fascist union of Cavs." 💀

You might have to help me understand this one, is it an oxymoron?

It's actually going pretty well. There are currently 3218 players in the GC. This number will at least 10X before the season ends, and it will probably more like 15X to 20X given past seasons with Deathless pieces. Earn rates should continue to increase as more players enter the GC. Based on participation data the event is still on track to meet or exceed the 1 billion milestone.

I will admit that in the future we are going to want to tune the event so community perception matches reality. The fact the points are backloaded because of the bonus GC points is definitely a sentiment issue.

The fact is, GC is still challenging for many new/semi-new players, getting the bonus in vib is a more reasonable setting.

He is probably referring to German version of Socialism.

if we choose the average score of 50% win rate, one fight score with elder mark is about 60, it takes 16 million fights to achieve 1 billion. If 300 thousands players play BG, the average fight is 48, that's a lot.

I admit it. I'm playing much more bgs and mcoc, that other months. The reason is the Realm Event.
I usually get into GC. I play about 2 weeks to get there, and play 1 match in GC. This time is going to be different.

I believe whether or not we get to X tier, this event is going to be a success for the game by increasing participation in the game mode. I would love to see the final numbers, if Kabam wants to let us see them.

I’d just like to see the Solo track stay, so I can collect the usual milestones at my regular pace, and then put the extra goodies behind the community event.

Haha don't worry kabam might probably ask beroman or andy to sell their favourite champ so we can get those rewards.

I'd like also to say that I usually just try to rush up to GC and I'm not enjoying the walk... and if If I lose couple of time I just close the game and move into something else. I feel I'm loosing my time...

But now with the Realm Event that "winning mentality or wasting time" is gone, if lose I think,. that's ok someone else won and ultimately we both won, so I don't feel such a grind as in previous seasons and I'm enjoying the "walk" much more than ever.

I like this event, congrats Kabam.

What happens when a large portion of players gets to 5000 points and stops using elders marks, saving them for future seasons of BG? This could cause a significant slowdown in point accumulation.

Does the data extrapolation account for people who stop using elder's marks. Because historically, players stop using their marks once they reach GC.

In 28 days, that's less than 2 matches a day. Thats nothing. Thats your daily toilet time lol

with people farming vt it's gonna take a long time for the bottleneck of lower players to reach gc
Under the current VT scoring rules, VT farming will propel people to GC faster, not slower.

There's been mathematically broken misperceptions about what VT farming is, and what impact it has on VT, since the beginning, and especially now with the current scoring rules. Here's the bottom line.

People hear "VT farming" and they picture monster accounts lurking in low VT tiers annihilating lower progress players. That's impossible. If a monster account starts annihilating lower progress players they promote. The whole strategy of point farming is: lose with energy, win with marks, try to always have easy matches when you are using marks by not actually promoting.

The only way to do that is to lose with energy so you don't promote. Except under the current scoring rules you always gain two points for a win and lose only one point for a loss. So for a point farmer to actually execute the strategy they have to lose two for every one they win. In other words, from the outside looking in a VT point farmer is a horrible player that loses 2/3rds of their matches.

To hover in VT and gain no points net, they have to give four points away for every two they gain. They are in effect promoting people into GC faster than if they played normally.

For various reasons, there are problems with point farming that involve anti-competitive effects. But point farming has no negative impact on our ability to score realm points. If anything, it enhances it overall. In fact, that is one of the reasons why Kabam originally cracked down on it: it allowed players to produce more points than intended in an anticompetitive way. But under the current scoring system, point farmers are not hurting anyone directly.

Low progress players can only hope to run into a point farmer. It is the only player in the game they will have a 66% chance of beating. If they somehow get so lucky they run into point farmers constantly, they could reach GC in just a few dozen matches.
I don't know why anyone thinks running into a point farmer is any good for lower accounts. I like playing for fun, rewards, and getting better at the game. Someone letting me win and advancing me higher than my ability or my deck can handle is just annoying and no longer makes the game fun to play.

Personally I am both being annihilated by monster accounts lurking in VT AND being gifted wins that are advancing me. In a typical season I can organically make it to Diamond III or II, and I am fine with that.

Thats all good but how many of those are actually playing matches in GC daily? From previous seasons, what is the participation level of players when they get to GC? These are the numbers which would be beneficial to know. Saying 30/40k get to GC is fine but how many play matches, when do they get to GC, what is the percentage growth of players getting to GC v how many of those then continue to play matches.
