Why does master-rank 2 only get 10 of those crystals and why does master-rank 3 get 20 of those crystals
I mean wouldn't it make more sense if master-rank 2 also got 20

    You weren’t even Uncollected yet recently.
    What event is that, and are you in contention to get Rank 2 or 3 in it ? Or just curious ?

    But, as above referenced, you need to look at the TOTALITY of the Tier 6 cats/fragments in there, in order to see that as a whole of them, the amount is increasing with higher rank.
