Alliance new member issue

An alliance member has had his champs stuck in an AW for two weeks now. He's been in our alliance and cannot place defenders. Anyone heard of this and any possible solutions??

    Like their attackers are stuck, or their defenders are stuck? Have they been stuck longer than they've been in the alliance?
    They may have to submit a ticket and see if Kabam can manually unlock their champs. It's hard to tell what's happening with such little detail and not being able to see it.

    As above, have them Submit a Request, and have support see if they can “un-stick” their defenders from old Alliance War setup.

    It's much easier if people remove their own Alliance War defenders (“leave their AW BG group”) prior to leaving their old alliance.
    Then that problem wouldn’t happen. (Otherwise they may be stuck for potentially 1 additional Alliance War after leaving. But if more than several Alliance Wars, then something is stuck).

    (and just what else would AW stand for when they also specifically said “cannot place defenders”)
