Mysterium and Trader’s outpost

Hi gang,

The trader’s outpost for banquet bundles resets at the same time the Jack’s Full Bounty quests end.

I’ve explored all the threat level 5 and now have two keys left over. I was planning on picking up the 33k mysterium on the remaining paths at lvl 4. Lots of people give the trader’s outpost a bashing but I think the store is great for the ease of earning the mysterium.

However, I’m at 43k for mysterium and no way of spending it. Does extra mysterium go in the stash or does it hit the cap and you lose the rest?

What are other people doing with their extra keys and/or mysterium?

It will hit the cap and that's it. One thing you could try, but may not work...

Enter the side quest with a few minutes left, then sit. Once the store resets, go buy everything, then go back in to finish the SQ. You (sometimes) have 24 hours after a quest expires to finish it. This has worked for EQ in the past (only for the single path you were already on), but I don't know if it will for SQ. I'd say it's worth the risk if clearing it now only gets you 7k.

This should work and I’m planning on doing the same. The only time it wouldn’t work is for rewards that are in objectives, as those would expire before you complete the quest. But with Mysterium as a path reward all should work out.

P.s. the pics are im reverse order, i was in quest when timer was still there, left it as it is, outpost restocked then I used my mysterium and ended quest and bingo!

I did that yesterday/today also (was trying to remember who suggested it, thanks).

It was odd that the 27,000 vs 3,500 (or whatever the amounts were) Mysterium seemed to NOT be consistent across weeks and difficulty levels.

But was able to buy stuff in store today upon reset (especially the new Banquet Ticket stuff) with Mysterium, and then resume the quest I was already in prior to reset and get the final 27,000 to refill treasury back full again.

***NOTE, for months where the Side Quests are LABS/RIFTS (etc), that would NOT work, because those actually kick you out (I think each day).
