Negasonic Teenage Warhead signature ability bug

In Negasonic’s sig ability description is states that her Evade Counter-Attack is supposed to round up. In game play at sig 72 which gets her 2.01 incinerate charges per evade it only applies 2 incinerates which indicates it is rounding up or down.

    It literally says rounded up.

    “ SIGNATURE ABILITY
    Offensive Predetermination
    LEVEL 72
    Always Active
    • As an Attacker, Negasonic's Evade Counter-Attack inflicts 2.01 Incinerates, rounded up, and personal Incinerates are paused during her Special Attacks.”

Galan has a similar mechanic of his sig ability be rounded up. If it states rounded or rounded to the nearest whole number, I would agree with your statement. But it clearly stated rounded up which in any universe would mean round up from anything over 2 to 3. And in this case 2.01 would mean round up to 3.

That's not how math works. You can't round from 2.01 to 3. It would need to be at least 2.51

@ahmynuts . NO, NO, (or you can wait for @DNA3000 to come and tell you the same thing, lol)

ROUNDED, without any additional clarifier, means to round to the nearest whole number (like you are assuming).

But when you specifically say ROUND UP, or ROUND DOWN, then no matter how small the fractional part is, it is telling you specifically that it will either go UP or DOWN.

ie, even the number 2.000000000001, when ROUNDED UP, will become 3.
And 2.9999999999 ROUNDED DOWN will become 2.

Note (so long as dealing with “positive” numbers), ROUND DOWN is the same as TRUNCATE.
    Truncating 2.999999 becomes 2

You may encounter times where someone saying ROUND UP, is incorrectly using that term to say round up only if above 0.5 fraction, because they are mistakenly assuming that without saying “UP” (ie, just saying “Rounding”) would act like a “Truncate”.
(*now, maybe that is what happened with whomever wrote NTW's Abilities, maybe they meant to just say ROUNDED by itself).
