in Bugs and Known Issues
The account has been permanently blocked. I have invested many years in the game, never used cheats or scripts. I demand that the decision to block be reviewed and the real reason be stated.

    because I stopped playing, and the other day I decided to return to this wonderful game. but what a disappointment I was when I saw that the account was blocked

    yes this is my first and only account, my base. blocking is also the first, this has not happened before in 7 years

    How long ago did you stop playing ??

    Long enough for them to release your Player Name back into the available pool of names ?

    (although the account itself would still be there, just without a name anymore, which I assume if you were able to login again it would ask you to choose a name again ?)

    Or did you give access to someone else to play on your account in the meantime (against the rules, and maybe why a Ban).
    Even though the wording “blocked” seems odd, unless it is in different language and translation is being done ?

    This sounds like you gave someone else access to the account, and they got it banned for some reason. Kabam does not, in my experience, permanently ban accounts for which no one is doing anything in them. There's no expiration date on inactive accounts.

    I didn't give my account to anyone, and I haven't played since 01/15/2024. But there was a moment when someone wanted to reset my data, they hacked my mail. Maybe because of this.

    and didn't play because the account was blocked. didn't attach much importance to it, since there were more important things, life's difficulties. and in general didn't know how to contact technical support. but when creating a new account I saw the "forum" button and decided to try my luck

    Can you post a screenshot of this message when you load up the game? Never once seen it say blocked over banned.

    Of course it involved a different language.

    Blocked vs Banned, how likely is it that language differences are what you say is different wording ?

    **but, I wonder if maybe (if indeed “Blocked” is a distinct alternative account state) because the account is still there, but had password changed or something like that. Also maybe Kabam has excluded access from certain other devices (by MAC Address, etc ?), precisely because of this attempt you stated above to get control of it.

    And maybe that other person is saying that *YOU* are the person trying to steal it, so put a BLOCK from you being able to access it using password you have previously had for it (or by device), etc.

    I have seen a lot of these stories. I love it when the hackers does Necropolis and other hard content for the summoner. Those are the best post. Some hacked into my account and did Necropolis and now I'm banned. Those are always the best post.
