Why Did the Sentinel Buff Keep Incinerates?

Sentinel is supposed to be this massive mutant killing machine. After the buff (like the current version), most of his damage will rely on the L2 incinerate debuffs.
The problem is that many mutants are either incinerate immune (Kitty, Havok, Colossus, Emma, Iceman, Sunspot) or will punish you greatly if you inflict incinerate and have major resistance (Onslaught and Bishop).
So why is the buffed Sentinel still so reliant on incinerate to do damage?

This is a great idea. Especially, since he ramps much faster now. Omega Sentinel had that, why wouldn't Sentinel?
Like whole community begged Kabam to change prowler heavy to plasma during rebalance but Kabam ignored.
And now, Sentinal, Kabam's new BIG BOLD MUTANT KILLER, still is little bih when he has to fight against ACTUAL big bold mutants because fire damage is thing of past and mutants have immune to it or punish you down bad for using fire debuff.
Huge L
Another detail could be that, Sentinal is literally from future? So you're saying future scientists are still relying on sending their mutant killer machine into past to hunt mutants who are already fire immune??
Huge oversight by Kabam.
Having a champion who counters literally every opponent who they've got class advantage against doesn't make the game better - it makes for more limited choices.
Do we really want all mutants to have zero defensive value, if the opponent has a Sentinel?
The robo can't do **** against actual mutants defenders, so him beating scuffed mutants is hilarious 🤣
Ironheart have ruptures for anti incenerate mutants.
Do you want sentinel to be powerful than nimrod? Cuz that's what you're askin.
dll has implied going against the standard class identity when brainstorming champ designs and it makes sense.
it pains me that sentinel won't work against a lot mutants but do we really need to ruin the defensive value of most of them with one champ? that's bad design. champs like nimrod hurt the game more than help.
Although I am very disappointed sentinel isn't stronger
It shows his self learning system as well.
But regardless, I disagree with your supposed takeaway, because Sentinel keeping incinerates tips him toward being too weak. His inability to counter the most common mutants means he will sit on the bench in BGs and most other important content too. Why bring him when other techs are more versatile? What's the point of buffing him if he won't be any more helpful?
If you hit dust block, she gives you sand debuff, when 4 sand debuff, she activates her sandstorm to give you guaranteed insane damage over time, enough to make you lose the round.
Sentinal's whole playstyle is hitting enemy block to gain charges and ramp. 🤣
So if you hit her block, she kick you in balls 🫲
Im THE VALAINT. 🙄
Or a funny mutant girl who goes through walls and have a little pet dragon??
