Never mind, not sure that you and I will play till the last day of this game 😄
You see Saetin, the youtuber who has the most Mcoc subscribers, play at the very beginning of Mcoc, and earn a lot lot from the game to buy house, car etc. now already quit...
We all have fun, at the moment, cheer! 🍻🎉
If Seatin quit... Why was he in Vancouver with the other CCP members last week?

Seatin quit because he started shilling crypto and nfts
Shop Titans is still going. Sometimes games don't work out.
It's definitely their next big money maker and they usually are on top of any issues that pop up and are very communicative with the community unlike mcoc

Fixed it for ya
You didn't fix it, you put communicative and mcoc in the same sentence, that is a crime
So it’s shutting down so add this to another game that kabam decided to shut down.
It’s gona get shut down tomorrow.
Yall remember that mcoc spinoff game also that failed?
Goes to show when people stop spending on a mobile game it will lead to its downfall
Do you expect mcoc will go on for another 5,10 years?
lol imagine the day we get 8*
Again. 8-stars don't exist in Marvel games, Strikeforce & Future Fight stopped at 7 stars and never pushed to 8-stars. Strikeforce did a more creative way diamond characters.
It's still the same concept though. Just because they changed from stars to diamonds. If mcoc did the same thing, a 3 diamond would technically still be an 8*
they are similar but not the same, yes a jump in stars comes with stats upgrades but unlike strike force that is the main part of the character outside of the kit. mcoc has other stats that don't increase unless there is a new star like challenger rating and the likes
It is very tricky to properly compare tiny pieces of games outside of their overall structure. In this case, the complexity here is that many of the stats that increase with rarity do so specifically because challenger rating also increases with rarity, and they are designed to increase in a way that will roughly preserve the stats under DR.
To put it another way, many of the stats that "increase" with higher rarity do so specifically so that in neutral fights between identical rarities and ranks those abilities have the same strength. Let's use an example to make this clear. Angela as a 6* Rank 3 has 756 crit rate stat. When she fights another 6* R3 with equal challenger rating (130) that crit rate stat equates to a 26% actual crit rate. If you pull her as a 7* and take her to rank 3, her crit rate stat increases all the way up to 914. When she is fighting against another 7* R3, that 914 crit rate stat equates to an actual crit rate of ... 26%.
That's not a coincidence. The diminishing returns system MCOC uses (which is different from other games, because everyone uses different such systems if they use one at all) incorporates challenger rating in an absolute not relative way. Meaning: when you fight a 7* R3 your own stats drop in value due to that opponent's CR level. That's true if you are a 6* R3, a 7* R3, a 7* R6, or a 11* R55. Your own CR does not protect your stats from your opponent's CR effects. Because of that, if stats did not increase with CR, essentially with rarity and rank, then eventually we will all be fighting with 23* R90s, and all of our crit rates would be zero because they would all be pushed to the floor.
Stats rise with rarity not to make the champs more powerful in MCOC, but to preserve their power in the face of escalating challenge rating.
If you don't know all this, or for that matter how MSF and MFF work in their own idiosyncratic ways, direct comparisons of things like rarity and stats are not going to be valid.

it was never meant to be a direct comparison. what I was trying to highlight is the base stat changes that occur from increase in star levels i.e. health and attack which are not affected by challenger rating.
the challenger rating adjustment for stats is a nice idea but feels like it's now forcing how champs have to be made and how the stats have be.
now strike force is much simpler every toon has the same list of stats and all that changes is the amount which would then determine how well your attacks and abilities go through. like not having enough focus against someone like black knight.
but ignoring challenger rating adjusted stats that are focused towards the fight, the star changes that champions get does come with increased stats which strike force has with it's multiple upgrade mechanisms from iso-8 to red stars and diamonds
Does this mean that they can now focus more on mcoc?
No. It was a separate team. I feel like theres a higher likelihood of that team either being laid off or being put to work on a new project because they would have to take that team and essentially onboard them and train them up in MCOC which is exactly what kabam doesn't want to do since it is so complicated which is why they are more inclined to hire from the community.

As long as MCOC doesn't shut down, I'm good. Even with all of it's issues, I still like playing this game, and hope I see it's 20th anniversary.
