Late Alliance Join for Banquet

I have only been in my alliance a few days and was wondering would I still be able to collect points for alliance milestone banquet rewards once they release on the 20th or will I have to wait until my 14 day period is over?

    You need to wait until your 14 days timer expires. Any crystals you open before that will not count toward your alliance points.

    Hello. If nothing has changed this year compared to previous years, you must wait exactly 14 days to start scoring at the Feast. And when I say exactly, I mean until the last minute and second. To help you not make a mistake, when the event is available (on the 20th), you will see a countdown that clearly tells you how much time you have left to be able to add points. To avoid any surprises, once the countdown has expired, wait at least 30 minutes and then open a single window and check that the points have been added correctly. If so, start making the most of the Feast, as it will end on January 3rd.

    In previous years we have had problems with some alliance partners who did not follow our explanations or pay attention to the countdown, absurdly spending hundreds of units that neither helped them nor helped us in the alliance milestones... To avoid this problem, in addition to the countdown, it would be useful if Kabam showed a pop-up message when opening the crystals or directly blocked their opening, but I understand that this can be difficult to configure. I leave it as an idea.

    I am 5 days late, I tempted to open few, and i am seeing a different thing going on... my points are still being counted towards alliance and my personal contribution. the only thing is i am not able to claim the milestone yet. dont know if it is a bug or something they changed, this making me question that after the date i am eligible, will i be able to claim the milestone i did when i was in 14 day period. please if someone can help? or has encountered same? @Kabam Miike @Kabam Zibiit @Kabam Porthos @Kabam Vydious @Kabam Lyra

    The whole preceding conversation in this thread beforehand, was expectation that it would work same as in prior years.

    After it had started, several posts showing how points were actually being credited this year (even before 14 days), but just that unable to claim the Milestones until you eventually reach that 14 days.

    So, if your points are showing toward the Ally Event currently, they will still be there once you hit 14 days, and then would be able to claim the milestones you had already contributed towards and met your indiv requirement.
