Big question is....how much does he actually play? Or does he just throw money at the game?
I always find this to be a weird question. Like, they spend a lot, so they have to be some kind of weirdo; I wonder how many fingers and toes they have. I’m sure the whales play as much as the rest of us do, some more some less.
The difference between the whales and the rest of us is: a) they have more money, b) they spend more money, c) they want to spend it on this game. They are not some different species of game player.
You say that like it is a particular hardship. My guess is the players battling for the top spots are agonizing over those spending decisions about as much as I agonize over whether to put another hundred dollars into a slot machine or take a break and go eat lunch.
How about don’t worry. Do you have people putting up forum posts about how much you spent?
I mean we talking about hundreds of not thousands
I opened 12k units myself that’s about $400 worth of units. That I grinded and got offers for.
I mean I $pend on 4th July, and cyber deal unit offers.
I did pick up 4 odins to get units for alittle Christmas gift to me since i play the game a lot and want units heading into 4th of July deals for 2025!! If there are good units offers along the way then I’ll use them but im just stacking up my units.
So that’s my plans.
It’s nothing compared to those who drop $ on these god awful crystal that community as whole don’t like.
But more power to them!!
The crazy thing is “forming” the rank ups to be able to r4 a champions right now cost a lot and it’s something to be discussed.
Not how much a mini spender like me spends lol, a lot of people buy deals all the time during biggest sales, I even posted my pulls.
How does people discussing how much this guy spent or how much he plays affect you? Why are your panties in a wad over a topic that does not affect you in any way?

Literally. We had one roll through the city here. All anyone could say was, "My God, that thing is ugly.".
Actually I think they aren’t so bad, they are decked out and are pretty comfy. I was considering buying one. However it’s not really my style, I’ll stick with a nice little civic.
That's over two million dollars in five years: over $400k per year on average. And I don't know how many MCOC players were playing what we were calling "MMOs" on mobile phones back in 2011, but imagine if the only game mode for MCOC was alliance war, all combat was automated and uncontrolled by players, you just got a report on who won at the end, the only currency you needed to level up your alliance war attackers and defenders was gold, and an unlimited supply was always on sale for cash. Crazy times.
I don't think we have a player in MCOC of this whale-a-tude, although some have certainly at least gotten into seven figures. But for the mega mega whales out there, a hundred thousand dollars is just the opening shot in their spending firepower.

He is probably a politician. I have worked with and met lots of people in the politics department and dayum, even by their fit and drip, you can tell they rich af. Pro tip- the reason politicians lie so much is because they don't really actually care if they get fired, the money is in their bank account already.

The $2m mega whale in the article I linked to was an appliance store owner. In my experience, business owners comprise a high percentage of gaming whales. They have the money, that revenue stream is relatively stable, they spend all their time making tactical and strategic decisions involving money, and they tend to see their hobbies in a similar light.
Most game players start with the mentality I often see echoed here on the forums: I shouldn’t have to spend, I shouldn’t spend, no one should spend, if I can get away with it I won’t spend, spending more than a small amount is wrong.
That’s not how business owners tend to see things. They tend to see things in terms of: what do I have to do to get what I want, how much will it cost, can I afford it, will I get the return I expect. They are constantly making decisions involving much larger amounts of money, and the idea that you should when it is your company but not when it is your hobby is a completely alien thought to them.
I say that as a business owner who has a similar attitude towards money. I’m not emotional about money. Money is just a means to an end. It is not a special thing that deserves special attention. I often tell people that I spend every dollar I make. I don’t save for retirement, I spend on retirement. I buy my retirement with the money I use to buy investments that will fuel it in the future. All my money is spent on something, it is just a question of what.

And there we have it #1 score!
Can someone calculate how much this is.
And posting on “my thread”
Since bringpopcorn is mad that I tagged him on someone else’s thread. 🤣
