ISO shortage - FTP

As the title says, i have seen this issue as a topic commonly recently mainly from my own experience and alliance/other summoners. Of course whales and bigger accounts wont have this issue as much as theyve opened tons of crystals already or during banquet/ more likely to have dupes to form enough iso in the stash for rank ups but even me who has a relatively big account, im always having to scavenge for iso once i use up my glory limit or buy the 6* shards in bg hoping for dupes. Ive got some great champs from the banquet to rank up but fml just from todays glory iso i was able to only get my medusa/warlock to r2.

Can someone explain to me why Kabam cannot make the glory iso have a higher limit/ also introduce iso as an option to buy in battleground store? I know the other option is buying that £4.99 iso bundle, or shooting stars repeat which was a grind and a half (+ mind numbing) just to max my Luke cage r1 so will not be doing again😂😂

Stop ranking every champ you own and hoard your shards to rank up 7*s and elite 6*s on demand. Should solve your gold shortages too.

for one i dont have gold shortage , but also i never said i rank every champ i own. I rank the relevant champs that most people also have ranked. I mentioned i ranked warlock and medusa recently, i still have champs such as hulk, ham, scream, hyperion etc to rank but will have to wait another week for glory reset lol.

Okay, so here's one you probably haven't heard as often, but it is actually the more relevant point. What would you prefer to run out of instead? If you had more ISO, what would you do with it? Level up champs presumably? Do you have enough gold to use that extra ISO? Do you have the catalysts to rank up champs prior to leveling them up? You are going to run out of something, what are you claiming is the more appropriate thing to run out of?

When people say there's no ISO shortage, they don't mean that literally everyone is overflowing with ISO. Rather, everyone is always short of something. Whether you are F2P or the largest whale, everyone runs out of something. They run out of gold, or they run out of ISO, or they run out of one or another catalyst, or, in the extreme case of infinite money, they literally run out of champions to level up.

Everyone runs out of something first. The only way to not run out of anything is to not spend anything. Something is always the limiting factor, whether you run out of it completely or it gets so low you don't want to spend any of it anymore. For you it is ISO. But adding more ISO to the game just changes your problem from ISO to something else, while handing everyone else even more ISO they can't easily use. And if we fix their "shortages" we would be adding even more stuff to the game that *you* can't use because you're short of ISO.

Its ok I get it; but I don't go around saying there is a Pandemic just because I got a cold.
There are many sources, its grindy, it sucks but there are many sources as FTP. And this feeling of shortage is there after big events.

It comes eventually as you progress, I also found I was out of gold when I had ISO and out of ISO when I had gold. There were many times I had to sell ISO to get gold to level up the champs I needed. Grinding arenas helps as you can get quite a few dupes with the grandmaster shards. The majority of ISO comes from duping champs which comes when you get all of them. You can also play the lower level monthly events. I've always struggled with both until I got valiant, now it's a catalyst chase which is fine just slow going. And I also bought plenty of ISO with glory. Just keep chugging along and try to get as many 4-6 star crystals as possible.

I’ve been running into the same issue last few weeks. Used to have 2k iso at all times, and now Ive got none, using bg tokens and glory to get some lol. It doesn’t feel right

Interesting, this is a good point forsure. In my case im good with material and gold since i spent a bit for banquet, plus i have enough rank up gems. But ultimately to first get to the problem of not having the rank up resources , i need step 1, which is the iso to take me to that point lol. Maybe i couldve shortened my post and just asked - why CANT they add more iso in the glory limit, why is it 10? Also when it comes to mats, i find it more common we get them from either the super daily, aswell as 3 areas of the store - rank up, glory and bg. Iso is in one area of the store and in super daily its generic iso which only gives a few level. I could say more but i feel like im yapping / might not even be making sense (kinda late) but thats my main points

lol trust me every week i spend my tokens on the 6*, they removed the 5* ones but those used to come clutch too lmao especially since you could cop 5 of those 5* opposed to the 3 of the 6*

Shooting stars has some and you can repeatedly get it. It takes some time, but you can level up a lot of champs.

yeah maybe im just feeling extremely lazy after just grinding a lot before banquet lmao. Im glad the banquet has given me chance to get good 7* that need ranking and im just trying to do it as fast as i could xD.

I think it is a fair complaint, when I have 30,000 gold sitting around but being completely out of multiple classes of ISO.

I can’t relate to this at all, and tbh, I’m not even sure where I get my iso. Crystals, for sure, but I don’t open everything as soon as I get it. I keep a couple hundred thousand four and five star shards as an emergency ISO bank if I should ever run out.

OP, do you do story and event content?

A few years ago I started saving my 4* crystals for when I needed iso. I’ve never needed them and still have 70 of each type of dual class crystal. 5* shards are building up too along with crystals I’ve purchased and not needed. I get enough iso from just playing the game, but I don’t rank up every champ so that probably plays into it.

ISO shortage can be corrected very easily. If you are F2P, you would know that the opportunity to rank many champs within a span of hours or days isn't possible. If you are able to space your rank up accordingly, you should be able to build up a decent stash and use it rank ups.

I didn't have an iso shortage until the super Dail started. The previous pacing of the level up event helped me manage it. Now I have to use the good ol' self-control.
