Why is this mechanic still behind a pay-wall?
I think it would be a good idea to consider making it a free function and to compensate for sigil owners they should add a permanent arena boost buff. Nothing preposterous, maybe like x1.25 or maybe less idk. What do you guys think? @DNA3000

P.S Im on a 5k units grind for dkg(help me out!)

    Arena express is an unusual feature, in this context. It’s included in the Sigil as if it is a QoL feature, but careful testing demonstrates it can have a substantial impact on arena speed. That would seem to preclude treating it as a QoL feature.

    My guess is that while arena express *can* translate to players getting more rewards from arena, in practice that’s not how it is being used by the vast overwhelming majority of Sigil subscribers. Most players do not max out arena milestones (that’s obvious from leaderboard statistics). Fewer still compete for the top ranks. So the vast majority of players using arena express are probably getting a similar amount of rewards for less time, rather than getting more rewards in the same amount of time by using it. That’s the very definition of a QoL feature, and my guess is that’s probably why the devs are still comfortable treating it as such. To the extent arena express translates to more rewards, it’s not enough to place it outside the range of what’s reasonable for the Sigil to convey.

    Given that, the devs probably see no reason to remove it from the Sigil and lower its value commensurately.

    Well thanks for responding, do you think a base arena boost for them would be unfair? I would assume that sigil holders already have a competitive advantage with express. All I know is that no one is doing arena for the ranked rewards anymore. I just wish it wasn’t so tedious to reach max milestones. Like even if express shaves off 10% of grind time it’d be nice to have. At the end of the day, it’s whatever, just kinda a weird quirk in the game.
