It’s just kinda boring. Aside from the three fights in each quest with the tactic, the fights are basically vanilla champs with masteries active and inflated healthpools. I don’t really get the point of the 50000 points 50000 damage node alongside the massive healthpools. You’re artificially extending the length of the fight so you can spend more time engaging with the fun quest design of… nothing because there’s basically no nodes. All it really does is make the quest not a very good testing grounds because you can’t reliably judge your damage output in a realistic scenario. With the exception of Enchantress, it’s fairly easy albeit time consuming and I’ll gladly take the rewards, but I don’t really get what Kabam was going for with this one.
Kabam is the equivalent of jerry jones and the cowboys. They are making tons of money so no pressure. Almost every game mode is outdated it's ridiculous
rewards sucks. But i had fun, the global nodes was so OP and i love it. A bright side of having the r4 to r5 gem is i finally rank up more 6r5, as i barely spent the resources on them anymore
Should have also added abyss crystals of sci/tech class along with more gems, stones, dust, gold, iso and shards if they really wanted to make it 6* oriented.
I wish they would make it permanent content with a few tweaks like letting you use any champion removing the global node but keeping the large health pools on the defenders so we could have something that’s somewhere in between an updated ROL and what the CCP has access to. It would be nice to be able to test out the new champs that we pull on more modern champions with much higher health pools where we can really push them to their full potential. now that we have max rank ascended 6* and R3&4 7* in the game the health pools in ROL aren’t going to be big enough for it to be a decent place to test out new champions
The node are fun , i take the reward because i like to upgrade uncommon champs , i just wish a little more of rewards , like 7* shards and some class t6c , gold
Decent rewards. VERRRRRRRY Boring to go through and took way too long each fight was at least 2.5 minutes with some being almost double that. Took nearly an hour. Didn't need to be 3 energy per tile either.
I kind of liked being able to use champs with the longer runway to really see what they could do when at max potential but it got old fast.
I would've enjoined more it it didn't have the damage cap, it's so boring hitting the opponent really hard and barely making any damage
Do I know there was a node 🤣 damage cap get removed & u do more damage after a time
Yeah, after two minutes of punching pillows the fight starts to feel good, before that is boring. And don't even get me started on that Enchantress fight that never ends
I am not wasting that much time for a 6 star rank up. Probably awesome for a new paragon … completely useless for a valiant account that’s even remotely established
Entirely too tedious. Not sure how some people completed the fights so fast, fights are taking me nearly 10 minutes, time investment does not seem worth the reward. For content like this, I would enjoy it much more if I could leave a team in the quest similar to crucible while still being able to do other questing/content.
Same request would be for content like Necropolis/Abyss. One of the main reasons I have never liked doing this long form content is I typically don’t have hours to play at a time, so I would just do one or two fights then log off. Then, you are locked from doing any other content and for completionist just completing all EQ maps every month, you need to maximize your energy in game.
I enjoyed it. Fights were nowhere near as bad as people made them out to be (my 6R4 Spidey2099 handled Dragonman and Mangog in about 5 minutes, Deathless Shehulk handled most in 3; Shuri/Ironheart decimated the tech path, and Bishop was dead before the final phase due to iDoom)
I'm of the opinion that the fights were meant to be long and vanilla so you could practice those fights because nearly every defender in each quest has a mechanic that will screw you over if you don't play around it.
