Lol.. settle down ladies, no need for insults, stay civilized, we're all part of the same (once) great community. Although "dense in the head" is beyond funny, never heard that one before lol.
Look, we all write here about our own experience in the game, past and present. And nothing anyone can say will convince me that all of the sudden my skills have somehow regressed in the last 6 months after 5-6 years of being at a decent level to say the least. And this isn't bragging, just simple self-assessment. It is a game core issue at fault here or several more likely. I'm not trying to win anything, just hoping to once again enjoy the gameplay, which is also the reason I still post once in a while hoping that Kabam staff will take notice and do something about it. It would be such a shame for this uniquely brilliant game to take a swift dive.
Yes, the AI isn't the same punching bag it used to be. So your skills haven't deteriorated, they just haven't kept up with the skill improvements in the AI. That's why we can watch hours and hours of skilled players on youtube not running into the issues that people on the forums say they run into. If it was truly a glitch, skill wouldn't matter; everyone would have the same problems. But they don't.
Well, actually they do mate, fairly sure I've seen/heard all but one (and I mean all I watch, can't watch everyone, not enough time in a day) and most mentioned and/or recorded issues more than once. MSD is I think the exception - who is out of this world good, again no idea how he does the things he does but we've all seen his gameplay and we've all seen him beating, sorry not just beating.. shaming other good/top players. So I think we can all agree not to take him/the exception as reference. A game should be playable by the vast majority and not by less than a handful of individuals. Again, I have no issue me or you not being as good as MSD, that is beside the point. I guess you must be watching a different YouTube than the rest of us.
Ok, please link the youtube videos of skilled players running into glitchy AI issues and complaining about it. I will watch them. I want to understand and see the issues. I just don't see any point in emotional venting without any factual support (other than "trust me bro" or "all us bad players agree so you must be wrong because you're not joining our echo chamber").

Maybe you should play some of us before calling us all bad, I'm confident I could make you blame your losses on some of these "glitches". As for links to aforementioned YouTube vids, just lookup some of the most viewed mcoc channels, off the top of my head - richtheman, kt1, vega, trap - as I've already seen enough and played through same. And just to be clear, I'm not saying the aforementioned players are in top 100 but they are people who've played this game for years on a daily basis (just like myself) and aren't happy with the current state of AI in mcoc. Unless you're saying playing daily regresses one's skill (well that makes sense..). Point is, again, like talking to a brick wall, this game or any other for that matter, isn't meant for a handful of people to enjoy but for the vast majority. And with this I rest my case, I did not post here so that I can prove myself to you or another but in the hopes that kabam staff come across one of the many, many discussions on current state of in-game AI and do something to fix it so that we - all the bad ones - can enjoy the game once more.
Ok, so basically you can't even link one video to support what you're saying. You just tell me to go to some channels which have hundreds of videos. How convenient....
In case you are interested in actual gameplay, here's several hours of recent streams from non-MSD players. No issues at all like the ones people complain about. Isn't that weird??
Did you look hard to find 2 videos with zero comments and just a handful of views? I've referenced you guys that are content creators, have tens of thousands of views on a daily basis and similar numbers of subscribers/followers. Or just do a basic search on mcoc ai in youtube, no need to browse through anyone's hundreds of videos. These AI issues don't occur every other minute, at times I can play maybe an hour without running into anything too bad but when they do happen, it's frustrating as all hell. Any logical mind would tell you stats are more relevant and reliable the higher the sample pool. So what you're basically saying is that all the ongoing threads currently on mcoc forum re: AI are all mad and/or poorly skilled people blaming the game just to vent. Kinda hard to believe so many people take time out of their life just to do that, wouldn't you say? And let's just end this here mate as I'm getting really tired trying to get my point across. I'm pleased you aren't running into any issues during gameplay. I do, daily. End of.
Bro, instead of just writing endless emotional essays, you could just try showing some evidence; it would take less time and less effort on your part, assuming you had any evidence, which I'm starting to think you don't...

The AI successfully hit the player with a medium attack first, and then dexed the player's attempt to hit back. That's not a glitch. You can't intercept by getting smashed in the face and then trying to counter.

Right, but these aren't glitches. It's just the AI being more skilled, trying not to lose. Yes, it takes way more skill to beat the AI today than it used to. It has evolved. Frame your complaints that way, instead of the nonsense about how it's "broken" or "glitchy." That's just copium.

I’m not attacking you personally, I’m stating you’re dense in the head if you think that the issues don’t exist. Just because top players don’t vent the way others do while a whole lot more players do doesn’t mean they don’t exist either. I don’t have to record when I play to know that the issues are there like so many other players that encounter the same issues. And yes, there are YouTubers like Richtheman and KT1 that have expressed issues that others have stated they have experienced. Just because you don’t want to acknowledge the same as many others experience doesn’t mean squat. You seem to like to banter with everyone and ask for proof of the issues. No 1 needs to provide proof to you since there are more than enough players that experience the same issues.
"dense in the head" you kill me with this one.. haven't laughed so hard since 4th grade

Right, I don't dispute that. But just so we're clear: fast AI recovery is not a glitch, but a design choice. It makes it more difficult to fight the AI, yes. Just like it's harder to fight opponents in Act 9 than it is in Act 3.

Dex in the middle of a player's combo? Lol, you just revealed why you think the way you do. AI lands a clean medium into the player; the player then goes unstoppable and tries to throw a shot, but the AI dexes out. The player was never "in the middle of a combo". The AI did the same thing a good player would do when they land a shot into someone who goes unstoppable. Dash the hell out of the way immediately.
It would be great if people understood basics before writing disgruntled essays about the game.

Right, I don't dispute that. But just so we're clear: fast AI recovery is not a glitch, but a design choice. It makes it more difficult to fight the AI, yes. Just like it's harder to fight opponents in Act 9 than it is in Act 3.
Except it’s not a “design choice”. Kabam Crashed himself came out and said that “it pretty clearly is recovering faster than it used to” (talking about the Ai of course), and that “we are working to fix this”. Not sure how that by itself isn’t proof enough that the AI is bugged but you do you I guess.
Lol.. settle down ladies, no need for insults, stay civilized, we're all part of the same (once) great community.
The AI successfully hit the player with a medium attack first, and then dexed the player's attempt to hit back. That's not a glitch. You can't intercept by getting smashed in the face and then trying to counter.

I'd like to see that quote from Kabam Crashed if you have the link, but I'm not going to dispute that it's accurate. Anyhow, if you want to take that as proof that I am wrong, so be it. But if you understand basic game design you realize that a glitch is an unintended malfunction that disrupts normal gameplay, whereas faster AI recovery is an unintentional balance shift that still functions within the game's rules but just increases difficulty.
For example, people here mostly make complaints like: "I hit the AI first with an intercept but it whiffed for no reason and then the AI hit me instead." If that is true, that would be a glitch. Of course, it's not true. That doesn't happen outside of very rare interactions.
On the other hand: The AI is recovering faster than Kabam wants it to. Not really a glitch. Just an unintentional increase in difficulty that Kabam can decide to rebalance. Similar to: hey, we made this new champ way too powerful, we need to look at rebalancing them potentially.

You talking as if its not a game breaking change.
I mean, I don't like it either, Sometimes I get specials blocked or avoided or even parts of combos (like Okoye's) if there is just a split second delay in my inputs. And sometimes it feels like there was no delay and the AI still recovered. But that could be cognitive bias on my part. Regardless, that's frustrating. But game breaking? I don't know what you mean by that.

Fair point, I will admit I’m not very knowledgeable in game design, but using the term “glitch” has always meant, to me, something that isn’t functioning as it’s supposed to, like the AI recovering too fast in this instance. But since that’s just arguing semantics I’ll move on to Kabam Crashed’s post, which I’m not exactly sure where it was posted but one of the videos Koukentsu showed had it in there. I will try to find it for myself and update when I do.
Edit: Before I posted this I was actually able to find the comment on a thread titled “I’ve almost given up hope at this point” by Emilia90 (I don’t know how to quote other threads in this thread so this was the only way I could think of). The comment does refer to another comment made specifically about a fight in Autumn of Agony but the way Crashed phrased his reply made it seem like the recovery issue was for AI in general. Hope this helps! (and I hope I got the title right😅)
Edit 2: the comment I’m referring to is on the second page. I just now realized he made multiple comments in this thread.

Ok, thanks, I appreciate it. I think I remember seeing something about that at the time but wasn't sure of the exact statement. But in a similar vein, I watch a lot of DaddyLongLegs' streams (who designed Serpent, ugh....) and he talks about various gameplay issues that Kabam is looking at. And he screams and gets frustrated sometimes too. And sometimes he acknowledges that it was actually his own poor play that was the culprit, and other times that the AI was being more difficult or more skilled than they intended it to be.

Passive auto-evade is definitely a thing and very obvious when it happens , mostly during heavy or medium intercepts, the side step and then the quick punish . the same thing kabam claimed to have fixed months ago . I played the game for almost an year without seeing the dexterity prompt coming from the defenders side and now it's happening very often. Same thing with heavy parry, and those light intercepts after walking towards the attacker .

That's not a glitch. You can't intercept by getting smashed in the face and then trying to counter.
.
It's just the AI being more skilled, trying not to lose.
Yes, it takes way more skill to beat the AI today than it used to.
It has evolved.
Frame your complaints that way, instead of the nonsense about how it's "broken" or "glitchy."
That's just copium.
But just so we're clear: fast AI recovery is not a glitch, but a design choice.
It makes it more difficult to fight the AI, yes.
Just like it's harder to fight opponents in Act 9 than it is in Act 3.

Regardless, that's frustrating.
But game breaking? I don't know what you mean by that.
