Sigil feels boring compared to pre-buff

Anyone else feeling like you're getting no benefit from the Sigil? I liked it before with you'd have the trial of the Thronebreaker or whatever and you'd be earning Sigil Credits and unlocking each milestone and claim from the stash.

With the revamp it just feels like all of the trade in limits are 0/1 and you have to wait a month for it to reset.

The weekly stuff you get has no Sigil Credits and I've had the Sigil since it was overhauled.

I haven't even been able to buy 1 L2 solo revive the whole month. Just sat at 2 Sigil Credits for week after week and it doesn't feel good.

I preferred getting Sigil Credits weekly.

I know everyone will disagree and tell me that I am wrong for feeling like I preferred having a consistent supply of Sigil Credits week after week, and that mathematically we are better off - that's not what my thread is about.

My thread is that it doesn't FEEL pleasant to have zero Sigil Credits given out on a weekly basis.

I imagine the point of the change to credit acquisition was essentially to make it so that every time you pay you instantly have options that your can spend on as opposed to slowly building up over weeks without being able to spend it.

Whether they were successful in that is another issue, I tend to agree that weekly credits over monthly somehow feels more rewarding so wouldn't be opposed to reverting the change even if it technically doesn't change anything

It’s terrible, they went backwards with the buff, if you could even call it that

    So it's a sigil debuff?
Using a forum favorite term. It’s a sigil nerf.

Nobody got the sigil cause it was good, they bought it the 1st time after update because they had sigil credits being held hostage behind the new sigil. Sigil credits that were already paid and earn that you couldn't spend unless you sign up again.

I bought it with an open mind and no preconceptions, but the experience of it doesn't feel good.

And still no update from Kabam what the changes are, when they'll be added, and when the compensation package would be available for early adopters.

They have said they are listening to feedback and plan to make adjustments.
The problem is that most people would agree the sigil update was an absolute failure. But as BringPopcorn pointed out people bought it to cash in there sigil credits that were being held hostage. This means that they don't have accurate numbers for how bad this was because there sales were falsely inflated and thus don't know how big a priority to make fixing this. Obviously changes on the fly are hard for them but If they don't make some serious fixes to the Sigil store I doubt they are going to have a high rate of repeat buyers.

I think a massive metric for them, regardless of the hostage situation (tho it is equally important to consider), will be the drop-off from this first month to the 2nd.

My main issue with them not being transparent with when any updates or changes will happen is that makes the whole sigil experience itself an unknown variable. I don't want it next month, or at least until the changes and updates have been made, but I also want to still be considered eligible for the early adopter thing, which they continue to not clarify.

People bought it on 1st and some will probablt buy the 2nd month if it allows them to get a 1st Titan or 2nd Crystal depending on what they picked. Numbers will probably show at around 3rd or 4th month.
Personally I might buy a 2nd month considering I am a few credits short from a 7* Nexus, after that I am done with it.

I turned off my renewal off as well. The store will be completely dormant for me while I get more sigil tokens after cashing in for Sigil Witch when it launched last month. I see nothing in the store worth $10 while I save for something that’s months away. So it’s absolutely not worth the money in its current state.

I’ve just cancelled my subscription. It’s never been good value and this “buff” has done little to improve it.

Most feel that the potion and Boost change is why it's bad. Those things had solid value vs what was given up and being forced to make a decision will never go over well.

When you bought the new sigil you received 75 sigil token. Thats a month worth of token.. before you had to earn 15 tokens every week so getting 75 at once is better. You just can't spend all at once.

However most of the items in the store cost too much so I'm hoping we will see a change to the store soon.

yeah store is absolutely useless for an entire month , you only get value once 1 month . then rest of the month completely useless . No one wants 4 , 5 or 6 star crystals . only value is getting a 7* crystal , t4 alpha and 7* sig stones , the rest on the month the store has NO VALUE ! at least let use trade is potions and revives to larger ones weekly , that would actually bring some real value to the store.

I turned renewal off after about a week and a half.

So many disappointments…potions trade-in gone, shard-for-shard trade turned into whole crystal only, gold no longer used as currency for boosts, timer on Sigil credit items refresh weekly (weekly Titan 😂) while timer for non-credit items refreshes monthly…

I honestly have no idea what the point of the redesign was. I got my one T4a (after the team got cajoled into making the T3a/T6b whale deal available to everyone) and I’m fine parting ways with the Sigil.

    I’m basically subscribing

For 12 months just for the Titan crystal
And that weekly chest every week.

That’s basically it. THATS it. Why would I wana trade in my tokens for potions/revives?

Sure is taking a lot time just to update this and make it better.

They all know what we want but they not here to change it for next couple months.

Rewards in bg,raids,aq,aw and monthly eq and side events are all stale in rewards wise.

Just wait till the next title progression after valient, then maybe there will be a slight update lol
