Gladiator's description - debuff not updated to passive?

I was thinking of ways to handle the Epoch debuff Cosmic path, and thought what about Gladiator.

Reading his kit, it specifically states that an Intimidate debuff is inflicted on heavy hits.

However, I discovered that rather than it being a debuff, it is instead a passive.

Was there some update to Gladiator to it being a passive and the champion description was not updated?

Maybe when he had his rebalance? I pulled him shortly after that so as far as I know it was always passive

There are active and passive debuffs, but they’re both debuffs. Most nodes specify active versions. It is confusing when the description isn’t clear, and usually means it’s active rather than passive. It should specify it’s a passive debuff in Gladiator’s description.

The stun mentions it is passive, but the Intimidate says debuff, not passive:

Before his rebalance, it was a debuff. But it is a Passive Intimidate now. It’s just an incorrect description.

    Very, Very incorrect

    This is incorrect and confusing.

there’s no such thing as an ‘active’ debuff.

More specifically to here (I believe what you were trying to make a point of) is that there is no such thing as a “Passive Debuff”.

Either it is a Debuff, or it is a Passive. (Difference can be seen by how the Icon shows, extra bordering around it vs not).

I'm fairly sure there are about 3 thread versions of the arguments in this thread regarding active & passive debuffs plus plain old passives lying around somewhere. Kabam need to create a proper post and sticky it in the tips & guides section lol

to be clear, this was a SIGNIFICANT improvement w/ Glads, because cleanse and shrug is a thing. so his intimidate passive is hella more reliable than his intimidate debuff.
