It's not 400 bucks for everyone. People grind arena and collect units elsewhere from the game and can save up a bunch pretty easily. Is it so clear that there is a better way for them to spend their units?
9,500 units is easily over a month of arena grinding. Spending 9,500 units from arena might be worse than just spending for it.
Fair enough, but I guess it begs the question: what is a good deal in the game to spend units on? Seems like "nothing" is the answer based on forum sentiment about how all the deals suck (banquet included)....

Is he worth the rankup unawakened? I like his playstyle but I was hesitant because he's not duped
He really wants the dupe and ideally high sig. The dupe alone makes him worth ranking because it gives him the encore passive which is incredibly fight control utility. High sig is nice to have because it’s a ton of free ruptures. I brought mine to 160, so that there’s a 90%+ chance of applying rupture when the opponent throws a repeated special (they’re always repeated)
Not the worse, but IMO these offers are not worth 9,500 units or $300. A guaranteed 7* is great, but the rest should be at least 20 generic sigs, and 10x Valiant or 5x Exalted crystals. Not the garbage Paragon crystals

Also, Friendly, "mediocre" I think kind of misses the mark on Spider-Punk. He's niche, but when that niche comes into play, he's amazing. Maybe you already have him or don't need him for this, but his evade stuns count as intercepts in the game. So he can take on a 7R4 Enchantress and even if she's not letting you intercept, just parry her (or even miss an intercept and counter stun) and boom, that's an intercept and her damage reflection spell is gone. And then one SP2 and she's dead.
