How to people get the first hit

Directly after starting a fight I usually parry or dex to find an intercept, I was wondering how people get that first hit in the fight. No matter how fast I do it, just doesn't seem to land

    Correct (*) as the champs are still running towards each other before fight really begins, start “mass tapping” Lights.

    So to do a full combo though when starting the fight, you'll be starting it with a combo like LLMLM.
    (you might be able to do LMLLM, but typically the 2nd Light is already queued up before you see the first one has landed (before switching to do a M-swipe for 1st Medium within the combo)

    (* exception, and a rather BIG exception) is if you are fighting a REAL opponent (BG, Arena, AW) versus a game node (EQ, SQ, AQ). Real opponents will have PARRY mastery, so your rapid-fire Light's to begin the fight might land into a Parry by your opponent (which is bad).

    But in those other game modes, they don’t have Masteries, and so no Parry. They may evade back from your rapid Light, but that's OK.

    I used to party at the start of a fight, but the past month I've been getting slapped. So I just start by constantly tapping the right side of the screen before the fight starts. I haven't missed yet.

    I’m like mostly a parry person.
    But if I can’t like parry and stuff, I like totally get back and like hit back with one of those intercepts or one of those super gay intercepts.

    Now I feel bad.

    It depends on champ you’re fighting and if there’s a node.

    Do you have either the parry or dex masteries?

    One or both?
    Parry first, then get you some dex.

    Depends on who I'm fighting with, Cap comes in swinging but gambit going to perry first thing. Dexterity with kitty is what I do.

    I always begin the fight using light attacks. You gotta time it properly
