Titan Crystal Cadence - 3 months or 2 months?

Before, the Titan would rotate every 2 months and it got changed to 3 months recently. It feels like so long for the new rotation to come in, and ive noticed a lot more people have been hoarding titans ever since the change, and Kabam obviously dislikes hoarding.
On top of that it takes roughly a year for new champs to enter the basic pool now, which would further motivate people to hoard titans in hopes of having more chances for new and exciting champs to come like Bastion
What do you think, do you wish they kept it at 2 months? Is the new 3 month too long?

- ez we will get more new champs not the mid level champ like redhulk , bwdo champs
- with smaller new champ pull u can pull them more likely
- u can see if u watch many people Epoch 7* pull (5 champ nexus) all are worse as no new all dupe or double dupe
- whereas Titan nexus - u have high chance to pull better champ
So, until all 3 sets eventually are in this higher NEW Ratio, people might be holding off (to allow the higher fraction of OLD champs to cycle out first).
Kabam probably should have adjusted the Titan contents when they switched to 3 months.
Remove 1 OLD champ from each of the 1st and 2nd Sets in there, to better match the new Ratio.
That way, people wouldn’t have been inclined to hoard them for the first couple cycles after they switched to 3 month cycles.
2) i had to read this like 6 times to understand your broken english, but you act as if all the "old champs" in the Titan were bad. Look at Juggernaut, Spider Ham, Knull, Warlock, Hyperion and Crossbones to name a few. These are all banger champs. We could finally see better skill champs like Kingpin, Stealthy, Nick or Valk
3) literally the opposite, youre more likely to get a new champ with a 2 month cycle as the titan champs wouldve rotated into basic (and therefore epoch) more often. Facepalm lol
The motto of titan is to act like featured, better shot on pulling new champs. The 3 month cooling period allows us to open more titans in a specific pool. So better shot at getting a new champ.
Look at it this way. You want bastion desperately. You have more chances on pulling him in 9 months compared to 6 months.
I don't understand hoarders you all hoard it always. The current titan pool is extremely good why would one like to hoard it? Titan shards come easier these days it makes no sense to hoard them.
As for the hoarding, you are correct that this current Titan is great. However what if you have all the good champs from the 6 that are immediately leaving (enchantress nefaria etc) and just missing bwdo, brb, and idoom. Then, in the next titan rotation you can still get the good champs like scream, zola, okoye, dazzler as they will all still be in the pool, but now you can also get jean/bastion instead of bwdo or idoom so overall you have better odds of getting your shards worth.
Even if you hoard for bastion or Jean Grey there might be duds in next titan as well. Or you could pull rulk. They don't cater to hoarders. They cater to players who actively open crystals. And this change is W for them as you have better chances at pulling a champ.
You think in the best case. " What is someone pulled nefaria already ". Just hoard. You have the option. But what if someone didn't pull nefaria already. Like me. Now I have more timeframe and better chances at pulling him.
Example: I love Nefaria. But…mine is L200 and I’ve only used ~20 stones on him. Also pulled him once while at L200. He’s a great champ, but I’d prefer not to have pulled him so many times. Suppose now that, instead of Nefaria, the champ we are talking about is Rhulk (a champ I really like, but also a champ I don’t want or need to pull 9-10 times from a Titan).
Ultimately, if the Titan is making way for something else bigger and better, then the new system is a great way to gradually reduce the allure of the Titan.

(Falcon applies immediate slow which counter any level of unstoppable node , spidey u never played the meta when he was way too powerful)
This is not your English class ,looks like u are dumb of it took you 6 tries .
Are u mid ?? Why u always talk like u won't get Titan crystal ? U can only get a champ if they get added in basic ??
Titan - 18 champs
Basic - 108 champs
If u math is bad also ,which crystal is better new champs u can just calculate

1. Pulled champion, don't want to pull them anymore - wait 6 months.
2. Haven't pulled champion, still want to pull them - have 6 months to try and pull them.*
3. Don't have Titan crystals - wait 6 months for the chance to try and pull them
New model:
1. Pulled champion, don't want to pull them anymore - wait 9 months
2. Haven't pulled champion, still want to pull them - have 9 months to try and pull them.*
3. Don't have Titan crystals - wait 9 months for the chance to try and pull them
The problem here is that with the Old model, two player types 'benefit' (6 months isn't that long), while one player type is 'harmed' by the shorter 6 month period. In the New model, two player types are 'harmed' (needing to wait an additional 3 months), while one player type* 'benefits' from the longer period.
*And even there - how much benefit is Player #2 deriving from the extra 3 months? An average player probably doesn't earn enough to open that many more Titan crystals. A typical player can get 2.5k Titan shards from maxing BG objectives 3 times (7.5k Titan shards across that extra 3 months). Monthly, a player probably gets maybe 2k Titan shards from SQ type things, so 6k shards across that 3 months. So that puts this average player at 13.5k out of the 20k shards needed. There are probably other random Titan sources (there will probably be endgame content in that 3 month period that will grant 1 Titan crystal; and high level players can earn more Titan shards from high level competition), but for the average player, they're not opening that much more Titan crystals during that extra 9 months.
Essentially, if a player earns roughly the same amount of Titan crystals across 6 months vs 9 months, then they are not benefiting from this "increased chance of pulling the champion you want" since the volume is not increasing.
So essentially, one player type benefits from the new model, and only certain players within that player type (high earners) can benefit from it.
The current format only allows 1 champ to enter titan, opposing to usual 2 and "ocassional" 3. So less old champs.
There are 3 types of old champs
1) broken - doom, hulking
2) Good but not broken - Stealth spidey, apoc
3) Mid/Okayish but not buff worthy - annihilius, Hulk rags
4) Trash - groot, kamala khan
They aren't gonna release champs of type 1 and 4 for obvious reasons. Which gives us champs on type 2 and 3, which is very limited, and they also have to release some of these champs in special crystals to milk during events.
So the new titan allows us to have less Rulks and Blades and more new champs.
When all old 2 month rotation champs exit titan (All champs ipto December batch), which happens by september. We will be likely having 15/18 new champs, and 3 older ones, who again, are highly likely to get buffed before being released. So titan crystals will actually have better value.
And wym by type 3? Players who don't even opened their first titan? Why should they have to wait? They just have to wait until they form a titan crystal.
Additionally, based of the new batch process the timing gets tricky. Either champs will be buffed before going into the Titan or after they’re already in the Titan.
If they’re buffed before they’re in the Titan kabam has 2 choices. Either a) release them through another acquisition method (e.g., track event, chase event, etc.) and diminish their value if/when they enter the Titan or b) not have them available as a 7* when the buff goes live which would diminish the perceived value and excitement. If they’re buffed after they’re already in the Titan the pull still feels bad for players.
Alternatively, they could not use the Titan for any buffed champs and instead just use the Titan for the “good but not broken” champs but as you said that group will run out quickly.
Let’s use MODOK as an example. His buff is going live in August and the titan pools will refresh in June and Sept. Kabam basically has 4 options:
1. Include him in the June Titan pool and make him worthless for 2 months, potentially longer if his buff is so-so (although, I have to give them credit the recent buffs have been good- 6 buffs in Dec, sable)
2. Plan to have him in Sept Titan and don’t have a 7* available for the first month of his buff.
3. Plan to have him in Sept Titan and release him as a 7* through another acquisition method.
4. Do not have him in the Titan and only release through other acquisition methods.
I’m curious which you think is the best of these options.
Type 3 is essentially a player that earns 7-star shards, but doesn't earn enough Titan shards to open a crystal in that 6-9 month period.
most players, regardless of whether they spend or ftp, and not hoarders. Crystal opening is unarguably the best thing in the game, that's where most of the fun is. most players hoard ocassionally when it is a necessity. Only very few players hoard by making Ultra complex mathematical calculations to maximize their benefits in a mobile game lol.
You say that Kabam discourages hoarding which you are correct, however Hoarding is a direct result of the cadence being 3 months because people dont want to keep getting the same bad champs or extra sigs, they will hoard for new and exciting pulls.
I have seen wayy more people hoard their Titans after the Cadence became 3 months
