Incursions: Spend Units or Die!

Haven’t play incursions properly in a while, so I had a quick bash. Behold, I got to the last fight to find out that if I didn’t have a champion with 25%+ health, I would automatically die….

I thought nope. I’ll just quit here lol… Felt like a complete skank of a scam.

On that note, a large range of potions on this game have become completely useless… here’s your 0.5% health for 100 units 😑

It's either u go till last zone or die in 1 fight
I tried 7 times this month - 7th time silk+ bullseye(hemostatic + tide of combat + second chance - hacks finally linked up )
Reached zone 25

I don't mind as incursion is fun

I don't like that the only way to acquire a lot of incursions revives and health pots is with units...... Unless I'm wrong?

Champs with an immortality ability or the Heimdall synergy are extremely useful in cases like these

Did you not read the nodes before going to the boss? There are ways to counter, especially depending on your hacks. The easiest, most tried and true way for your current situation, is Herc, as his immortality can survive the health drain, and then is replenished. There are also others that you could have swapped out too and maybe would have been even slightly better.

the incursion rewards are pretty much outdated anyway. So ur not missing anything man, just quit it

I did just do it as an alternative to other options, don’t mind incursions as it can be quite fun, but these spend unit or die nodes simply just ruin it for ya.

I did consider taking in knull along side scream, but I just accepted defeat, I’ve 100% both act 8 & 9, and I really don’t have it in me to sit there reading nodes anymore.

Getting a 7-star to rank 3 is a long arse process, never mind rank 4! Perhaps I’ll begin enjoying the game more when it gets an upgrade.

Can’t be fudge to chase end-game quests like Epoch.

Until then…

Incursions are a momentum based game mode. The difficulty keeps ramping up but with nodes the player also keeps ramping up. It is usually some small mistake or bad luck that ultimately trips up the player and ends a run. If revives and potions were easy to farm or didn't cost much, it would become too easy to erase those hiccoughs and blast through to the end most of the time.
