KT1's guesses: Same things I said, they're picking champs that were at one point at the top of the game's meta, Thor belongs to that group even though he got nerfed massively afterwards and though still strong yes he's currently not on the same level as the rest but that's kinda the whole point. His role in this crystal will basically be: the filler champ, the one nobody wants to pull even if he isn't actually bad. Expecting Kabam to throw us a crystal with the most meta relevant champs to ever exist without a single dud (and I say this mainly cause he needs sig 200 not because he's bad) is for lack of better words the most delusional thing one could possibly think and hope for, and if they did do something like this then that would be a first it's a hill I'm willing to die on. In what planet, reality or dimension does one actually believe Galan and Hulkling/CGR are being added back to back? 😂
You could be right, but my question is, if it's going to be thor? Just why? It's not like they could have added galan in this crystal instead of titan. I mean, kabam is not dumb like that. If galan was already added to 7* and only left non broken cosmics are thor/annihilius then I would have brought your theory. But since they release galan in titan, then I likely assume they have some better option in the titan.
But if they don't, Then I will be furious. Galan should have been there instead of some dud cosmic.
Remember guys, these kinds of crystals usually had champs of similar power level. Look at loyalty crystal, all champs are pretty equal in power, mordo and aarkus are defined as useful as black cat and storm. Not as good as them, but have some favourable matchups like him.
Look at previous omega days. All 6 had some use in endgame content, high tier AW or bgs. Same goes for reunion crystal. All champs are good/okayish with quite similar power levels. So hopefully it's hulking this time.

Cause the other champs being added will most likely be some of the strongest in their classes and since the cosmic class was always the most sought after and the top class (because of Herc) when it came to 6* for a literal YEARS, this time they will be the underdogs.
You should probably brace yourself then cause it most likely won't be Hulkling, go watch Lagacy and KT1's videos so you can have a better understanding of why it doesn't make sense they give more detailed explanations than I can type here. The most broken 6* in the entire game is still a cosmic, and now you expect them to release the #2 and #3 in the cosmic class back to back? You gotta be realistic here, it's not a matter of what you want but what makes sense in terms of game health bringing both into the game as 7* would revert the meta completely in a matter of months for absolutely no reason.

Omega Days had filler champs that needed sig 200 like Omega Red, Thor would be no exception here the problem is again, most of you are so used to the Hulkling Galan cheese that you don't even realize there's more to the cosmic class than those two CGR and Herc. I love Galan he's my favorite champ but a sig 200 Thor not only hits harder on basic attacks but is faster in BGs as well the only issue is he has very little utility unlike Galan, doesn't however change the fact he could easily be a very strong nuke with the crit stat as a 7* look at Sunspot. Thor is a powerful champ, just because he's not top 3 doesn't mean he isn't powerful.
Considering this is literally called “Heart of fire” if it’s not Torch I’ll eat my hat.
I expect Claire Voyant to also be part of this lineup, it will be nice to have a champion who’s dupe and sig isn’t required, similar to Torch.
As for the other two, I’m still holding high with Ronan, sig 200 he’s unstoppable, Nick Fury also wants high dog as well.
As for Tech, I think Viv Vision is the perfect Titan champion, so I think it’s going to be Nimgod.
Doctor Doom will be part of a separate event this year or early next year, hold me too this.

I can’t find the post, but I recall a Kabam mod saying that there was a coding issue with her buff immunity debuff I doubt we’ll be seeing her as a 7* .
Totally fair comment, however I do think that we are past that. The vote change for a mystic 7* to be brought into contest was roughly a year and quarter now, we are coming up to nearly 2 years.
Times have changed, so should Kabam, they should have the opportunity to do this now. As this is an event that has been created at least a few months prior.
There is one problem with Claire Voyant though, like you said with Buff Immunity. Is it too strong? I’m not sure, we will see soon I guess.
It's absolutely too strong
Yes, it is strong.
Buff immunity comes from her poison or bleed spell I think it’s poison though.
Your main damage source from claire is her incinerate spell, you can only select one.
Unless the champion you face is buff heavy, and you are in poison spell, she hits like a wet noodle.
Keep in mind that when you activate claire’s sp2 that buff immunity I’m pretty sure is 8 seconds, once you reach 20 Voyant charges she will be loosing this BI consistently.
If you consistently keep up the buff immunity, you are going to be in a fight for a LONG time.
I personally think she’s ready, the only reason Kabam removed her from the vote is down to the difficulty of her buff immunity and coding, so it wasn’t actually down to how powerful she was.
Buff Immunity occurs on SP2 regardless of mode. It is powerful, but since it is locked behind SP2 it's pretty hard to spam it.
If there are no immunities to manipulate (like The Champion in one of the earlier acts), it becomes a game of racing to two bars of power, waiting out whatever unstoppables since you'll run out of charges, use your SP2 to gain a few more charges, be able to nullify a few buffs when BI runs out, and again race to another SP2 to gain BI and a few more charges.
I actually don't think her Buff Immunity itself is overpowered, but more that she gains power anytime an immunity happens. Not just what she is capable of (buffs, bleeds, poisons, incinerates) but any immunity. There are a ton of immunities in the game happening all over the place. For example, Debuff/stun immune grants her power.
With all that said - I do think she is coming as a 7-star (if they've fixed whatever potential programming bug there could be). She has been included in a Dazzler and a Count Nefaria synergy recently. Although those synergies make lore sense, it also seems like Claire is being thought about (Elektra is part of the Count Nefaria synergy too.....)
I would say her buff immunity is overpowered in the sense that it pretty much removes an entire aspect of the game without any counters. Her being a 7 star would essentially require future cosmic defenders to stop relying on buffs entirely since currently there's not a single cosmic champion that can deal with buff immunity and it just ignores pretty much all of their kits
It's wild that so many people just assume that the other 4 will be on the same level as Apoc and fury. Omg it must be hulkling or CGR, DOOM and i could only wish for a 7* Torch/Scorpion, though i could see scorpion coming, although I'm doubtful it will be any of the super duper OP champs I just listed.
My guess is Viv, Cassie lang, Absman and Annihilus, though I'm really hoping for OG Thor.

She will be fine. Her buff immunity is very useful, but they can always make new champs with buff immune immunity. We have new mechanisms like destroy buffs, If destroy mechanism are healthy so is buff immunity. Also her low damage makes her a very balanced champ.

This thread is a mix of guess and wish.
The wish part can give information to Kabam. Even if I think Kabam know pretty well those really liked by the base of players.
The guess part is a funny little game. Months ago, Crashed wrote that 25% of the champions won’t be released as 7*. Maybe the plans have changed for some of them.
Maybe Kabam indicated the 2 best champions as the big announcement of the event. Far above or not so far from the others. Whoever will be the 4 other champions, the hype of the event is already the success Kabam wanted.
Obviously the 4 other champions have already been decided, the players in the forum won’t change them. So enjoy the thread for what it is: just a little game of guess.

Finally someone else with some common sense lol it's funny to me that people are saying they're going to be mad if Thor is in it and not Hulkling, they are literally giving us Nick Red Goat and Galan in a span of three months, asking for more is very greedy. This also shows why they need to keep delaying the arrival of Hulkling CGR and all of those as 7*, most of the people in here are still so fixated on the same usual op champs instead of trying something new and giving a chance to the underdogs. If they bring both 7* Galan and Hulkling or CGR at the same time this year the entire meta will revert back to cosmic class op nothing else matters, then we're stuck with it until 8* come out, and the game becomes stale again.
With that being said though I do think Scorpion and Nimrod would fit perfectly, they aren't extremely strong like Hulkling or CGR. One is already not exactly the fastest not to mention stat focus would do nothing for him, and the other got nerfed pretty hard when they decided to make half the mutant class (the relevant ones at least) punish shock or be immune to it. I think they would be perfectly fine as 7* now.
At this point I no longer sure what Kabam thinks. It obviously wouldn’t be Hercules so when there said power full is it from player standard or Kabams if it player’s it could be hulking or CGR Kabam it be annihilate.
I don’t understand the hype around Ibom. Poison is such a common immunity in the contest and his only damage source. Bro constantly suffers from inequity and is too slow for bgs. Why do players want him in this powerful champs crystal, he was never considered powerful.
while og thor is very powerful, his sig scales badly and if he can't stun or armor break (or keep armor breaks) he's toast. lots of defenders and nodes mess with him.
annihilus is irrelevant on offense and hasn't been meta relevant for 5 years. all the omega days champions (longshot, OS, OR, corvus, mole, QS) we're all very usable and or excelled on attack so putting annhilus in there wouldn't be consistent with theme of this crystal.
if we could get just one more champion like scorpion or hulking in there and the rest decent fillers i wouldn't be too mad.

Viv abs man and Cassie are all better than apocalypse lmao

So don't use him for poison immune match ups? There aren't that many matches he's intended to be used for that are poison immune, but even still he does have ways around poison immunity
At this point I no longer sure what Kabam thinks. It obviously wouldn’t be Hercules so when there said power full is it from player standard or Kabams if it player’s it could be hulking or CGR Kabam it be annihilate.
Oh! it's definitely from kabam's point of view. Hulking is way too good to be a 7*. Annihilus is coming, Haha. Defenders are always coming faster than attackers.

yuck. please no, he's awful.
players will be spending and or paying 40k units for these champs. anni is a mid champ at best and doesn't belong anywhere near this.
and while we're being objective, let's not overhype apoc. he's good but let's not forget that he lost a lot of value before 7*s came out and a lot of the newer tech's should handle him.
i see him shining in the more niche BG metas and maybe AW in general.

He’s really not as bad as you might think, he’s difficult to deal with, he’s unpredictable.
Just out of curiosity is he better of being on this style of event, or the titan?

he can be very tough without a counter. judging by the community's use of him, he was in his prime in 2019-2020 and then quickly fell off after that.
i'd give him a C+ and going by last year's omega event, he doesn't fit in that powerful category cause imo every champ last year was in the B+ to A range.
between an event like this and the titan, i'd rather see him in a titan because this event is more exepensive. if i had the choice i'd put him in another 10x10 supply drop event if they ran it again or a "complete this semi-easy end game content for a free annihilus".
At this point I no longer sure what Kabam thinks. It obviously wouldn’t be Hercules so when there said power full is it from player standard or Kabams if it player’s it could be hulking or CGR Kabam it be annihilate.

There is a lot of difference from player’s Basie to Kabam data ect. It pretty simple we can predict all we like but truth is there may not be that’s super god tier personally i would be happy to get a hulking or CGR but i do hav no hope of those.

But if they don't, Then I will be furious. Galan should have been there instead of some dud cosmic.
The champs in red circles are all champs I have r6 s200. Would be kinda bummed if they became 7*s. Except CGR. Honestly hoping for 7* groot🗣️🔥🔥

We should take loading screens as a grain of salt, but they have been used to foreshadow the future (most recently she hulks new design)
As we can see here we have all these champions available as a 7*, except Annihilus, I think there’s a reason for this.
I think Annihulus isn’t the right champion for the titan, but he’s the perfect champion for this type of event.
The wish part can give information to Kabam. Even if I think Kabam know pretty well those really liked by the base of players.

Mystiek - BWCV
