As most of you know already or just didn't see it yet, 3rd champion has been revealed as Immortal Abomination. That means I made the right call for the eliminations in science class. *applause*

I forgot the fact that Galan is also coming this month as a 7 Star so that almost destroys the chance for CGR or Hulkling so I'm changing my pick to Thor also.

For the mystic class I still think we are about to get Claire Voyant.

Lastly, I still hope that they leave tech class to the last so it can make my hopes up for a chance at Ghost. I need Ghost. I missed seing people using and appreciate Ghost. I can't use Ghost at BGs anymore. I know it's like %1 chance but we are opening crystals with lower chances so thumbs up.

    Sincere Ghosts.
    Ghost you.

It's definitely going to be either Claire or Doom. I'm leaning a bit more towards Doom just because I'd assume they're probably trying to repeat the wave of hype he created when he was first released, it's safe to scratch off Tigra and Abs Man tho they're too strong to be in the crystal.

As for tech, I have to disagree with you there because Ghost even now would probably be very strong as 7*, stronger than Scorpion would've been. FAM's also way too strong so it's between Viv and Nimrod, and personally I'd pick Nimrod. Some people will say "oh but Nimrod was the best tech once he's too strong", and that could be a valid argument a couple years ago but with so many meta mutant defenders immune to shock or punishing, I just can't see a reason why they might not add him. If they add Viv instead of Nimrod that will 100% be the final nail on the coffin for this event, it's bad enough that they went with iBom over Scorpion or Cassie.

Where’s all this conviction coming from about meta champs? It’s gonna be Nick and five role players.

For the tech class deep down I know you are right and think the same way but Ghost is just a dream for couple more weeks. Don't take that away from me by spitting the facts

Of course that’s what they mean. It’s their whole model. Why would they put six insane champs in one crystal? It makes no sense.

Because again the title says "Powerful Champs", it's misleading but that's what it says.

Ibom is confirmed and take in mind that apoc is also a little behind “god tier” champs. Predictions are
Mystiek BWCV, Tech Nimrod/viv, Cosmic, annihulus/Thor

From a business standpoint it makes zero sense to stack this event with all the most wanted 6* locked champs. They will make more money in long run by spacing them out which seems like it's what they will do and nick will be the chase champ.

They'll still clean up on this as the guys that spend on these events will spend to get Nick and because he needs the dupe those that get him will then send more to dupe him.

Ibom is a bummer choice. They are putting champs who were considered the best in their classes at some time in the past, Nick and Apoc fit the bill (though it can be argued Nick is still one of the best in skill class that's because skill class failed to adapt as well as other classes). So I expect other classes to follow the same trend (Old Gems that are not too OP in the current state of game)

Mystic: Dr Voodoo (with some changes to his kit like how they did with Ibom)
    Cosmic: Thor
Tech: Star Lord (Nimrod is an option but I don't want to put him here cause of how much disturbance he will cause to mutant class AGAIN)

    My updated guess would be
    Mystic-Bwcv
    Cosmic-Annhilus
    Tech-Nimrod

Nimrod wouldn't disturb anything in the mutant class anymore because they've made sure mutants these days are completely immune to him.
    Onslaught: can't do
    Dust: can't do
    Bishop: can't do

Ones he can do: Domino, Sinister and Weapon X, however the other three I mentioned above are way more meta in terms of defense than these expect for maybe Domino.

When was the last time we have ever gotten a mutant regen? It was toad who was released 3 years ago. Sure there are alternates to prowess in daunted but Nimrod made regen non existent in mutants. Nimrod is type of threat like Human torch, who can destroy mutant abilities, it will forever duant the class making every mutant defender moving forword Nimord proofwhich is tough.

It's not tough to do they just have to make them shock immune or make it so shocking them is punishing for you just like they've been doing with most mutant defenders lately. I'm not denying he was strong back then but bringing him in as a 7* right now wouldn't really disrupt anything, none of those old meta defenders like Toad are meta anymore, the meta ones currently are immune to Nimrod for the most part except for Domino and Sinister but that's it.

I don't think you guys know how DLL(the game team) sees scorpion as a broken champ. The only issue with scorp from their perspective is the venom synergy which they think is broken and it actually is.

Iboms will be a great 7*. Super useful in wars and questing. He does suffers from inequity though. Only time will tell how good he performs in top tiers BGs. He will slap defenders everywhere else.

I'm still confused on this change, does this only affect inequity affecting ibom on attack or your own inequity is also reduced and doesn't work while using ibom against opponents?

If I run Inequity and you are using ibom, your damage will be reduced significantly.
    Inequity only affects opponents.
Me running inequity has no effects on my attackers.

the issue with nimrod is that he was overpowered against mutants and there's no way they can let him perform like he used to so they'll keep designing champs that neutralize him, making his re-release basically pointless. i dunno, maybe i'm wrong.

also, is this a secret kabam brocolli crystal? didn't he design NF, apoc, and ibom? maybe we'll get doom and herc too lol

    edit: yes he did

    @captain_rogers still expecting Hulkling?
If they're not even throwing Scorpion in there, there is zero chance Hulkling is in it. It's either going to be Thor or Annihilus.

Well I have to take the L now I guess?

Happy for ibom, my first science r4 6* and one of my favourites, and the tune up makes him even more desirable

I think claire, anil and nimrod/viv are the other possibile champs now
We're all taking Ls I really thought it was going to be Scorpion.
Anyone who thinks Scorpion, Hulking and FAM are gonna be in this Crystal are delusional.
How so? They literally put "Powerful" on the title and already added Nick, Scorpion seemed like the obvious choice and it would've made sense. FAM and Hulkling are different I knew it wasn't going to be either of them.

Nick isn’t a top 5 skill champ. If they would’ve added Kate Bishop and Kitty Pryde then I would’ve been on board with those other champs being in this crystal.
