Has anyone done the math for how much money it cost, just purchasing web deals to hit top milestone

I'm just wondering, I'm thinking about doing it but I have zero units. Does anyone know off the top of their head, should they purchase only the crystals in the web store (I think you get extra in the offers) and you reinvest all your milestone rewards into crystals, approximately how much U.S. dollars will it take to hit 7 star Dark Phoenix?

It looks like you would have to buy every single Valiant and Paragon bundle and that would only get you enough crystals for 328pts, then with the units returned you would be able to 32 more, giving 392pts. So, you would still need to buy 4 crystals somehow (it looks like they messed up in the store and there should be 12x in the 11x). Unless maybe the selectors count as a crystal.

Anyway that's $530.

Thanks dude, I figured it was gonna be around $500, that’s generally the Kabam number. Might as well be in a economic book, it’s very regularly occurring.

To get 7* Dark Phoenix, u need 400 points. Each crystal gives u 2 points. So u need 200 crystals.
If u purchased all the Valiant crystals released yesterday, u would spend $250 for 50 crystals.
If u purchased all the paragon crystals, u would spend $200 for 40 crystals.
From those 90 crystals, u would get 17 crystals as rewards from opening them.

So far, u would spend $450 for 107 crystals. Still would need 93 more crystals.

The million dollar question is, is she worth all this $$$.
Anyone have her as 6* or 7* yet???

I'm really tempted to go for her.

Its a good amount @doctorb . I've been basically slowly buying all the offers in the web-store (extra crystals) and reinvesting everything I get from the milestones. Basically, after I get out of work, I door dash for a few hours and whatever I make I buy a bundle. If you can buy out the store, you'll have enough so I'd say ~600 ish.

just remember, that is a 4 digit number that is currency that could be used for better things than pixels on a screen, but that is just my opinion, u do what u want with your own hard earned money.

@doctorb I bought all the web-store deals, reinvested all the units, popped all the crystals, I think I had like 1,200 units ish to start, maybe a bit more and I hit all the milestones. I wouldn’t spend it if you don’t have it. I side hustled specifically for this and only used about $150 out of my actual jobs cash, so don’t get hit too much by F.O.M.O.

But…it’s important to mention that there might not ever be a time to realistically get her again, unfortunately, I’m a fan of Dark Phoenix, so they got me.

You would need to buy 3 crystal with units. To get all the milestones, you need to buy 123 crystals and recycled all the units gained into the event again. Buying all the valiant crystals for $250 yields 60 crystals. Then buying the paragon crystals will be $250 for another 60 crystals. This leaves you needing to grind out 900 units yourself or you can change things by buying the 7* deal too that had the 7* crystal and 12 crystals in it. You'd want to replace one of the $25 and $10 deals for a grand total of $545, Alternatively you can replace a $50 deal and just need to grind out 600 units for the last 2 crystals. This would be a net cost of $530.

@doctorb I definitely wouldn’t spend the money if you don’t have it, but like you just mentioned, it terms of the MCoC economy, this is actually a very decent event. Of course we don’t know what the Fourth will bring but for approximately $500, you get a guaranteed duped Nick Fury (or whoever you want) most likely a couple of the others, duped amazing defender and probably a soon to be very underrated attacker that will probably never be this accessible again, a rank 4 of your choice, max sig of your choice and 2 rank 3s, plus everything else in both milestones plus the champs out of the 200 crystals…pretty wild when written out,

Again, these are pixels, but in terms of the game and the joys that it can bring, this is a pretty enticing event.

Ok, but it's not 2 rank 3s plus one rank 4, since you'll need to rank 3 the rank 4. So it's one rank 4 and one rank 3.
