What kabams god awful champion gating strategy does to a loyal and good community member
She did wof on first week. Drank a bit too much hater tears on the way.
Any criticism kabam gets for wof and how they're locking champion releases are completely justified so I have no idea what you're trying to say
What does it have to do with OP, who didn't mention anything negetive on thier retiring post. No clue what kind of criticism are you trying to convey on a goodbye post.
I think the big thing people are missing is that my initial comment was a joke based on a popular meme format
Can't say I expected this one but I do remember both of us discussing being burned out on Discord, I might follow in your footsteps soon. Good luck with everything! Not sure if this is permanent or just a lengthy well deserved break from the game so see you around whenever you come back, if you do come back.

I'll blame the guys who put agrees instead of lols. That's 2 out of 2 failed interpretation of sarcasm in a single thread.(I see that when youbsay it like that)🙏 Enough internet for one day. dips.
Thank you for the kind words everyone! I think July 4th just helped me make the final push to quit the game. I’ve been open to critiquing Kabam but I’ve also eased up on them a lot the last few months and tried to see it from the devs side. I think the recent deals have made it especially clear that it’ll take a lot lot more grinding (or money) in the future and I think the game already takes up enough time as it is
I played this game all through high school and now through college and it’s just a lot atp and you kinda realize it’s just gonna be an infinite cycle of chasing champs. Even if Kabam does fix the issues they have now (which I honestly doubt, especially the AI) I think the game is too much of a drain anyway. I think there is good in the game (I’ve certainly defended these things lol) and I’d hope they figure out what to do to please the community after the reactions to the direction this year
As always I think the champ design team has been doing such a fantastic job with the champs this year and that’s probably the thing I’ll miss testing out the most. Once again, good luck to everyone and I’d say to go for the break/retirement if you’ve been considering it
Good bye! I hope you find peace, fun, happiness in your life. I should stop playing this game too. It’s becoming stressful and tiring to play with hard defenders, ranking champions. I try to play less. I go for a walk, drawing, listening to music. It’s an entertainment game that makes me not to think about sad things. I wish you the best. I admire you because you ranked 4 your favorite characters. I’m not sure if I can make it too.
I appreciate this message so much, nicely put! I'd already quit the game but july 4th sealed the deal (no pun intended) for me, now I rest assured that I won't regret this decision one bit. Even the most dedicated will get exhausted and lost in the process, it won't ever stop unless you take that step and I'm so happy that you finally did! Hope many more can recognize the addiction/time investment/dedication and realise how it eventually wears you down. I support and suggest anyone to reconsider and re-evaluate the place of this game in their lives, self-awareness is invaluable. Nobody else will know or do what's best for you.
I wish the game was just an "infinite" chase, even as a spender I realized that monetization became an all ornothing thing. Heavy spending doesn't even get you where it used to.
goodbye , I should also consider quitting at this point , pretty sure I raged so hard one day I just stopped playing and still haven’t gotten back into it .
Thank you for all the opinions and great posts you have contributed to this forum, all the best luck and wishes .
When the game annoys me, i grind arena, because mindlessly punching franchise property is what brought me here. Not champ chasing, whaling or worrying about what others are doing. Just a bit of dumb fun.

You've made the right call, especially after you see the thread im going to drop this week, which will shed light on something shady and nefarious going on within the upper Celestial brackets.

I guarantee you that your thread will have 0 relevance to why she is quitting and dare I say. No one aside from like 10 players will care if something is going on

Take care. I’ve been struggling to even finish the daily super event lately, so I’m just going through the motions at this point lol. The direction this game took by pay gating top tier champs is absolutely rancid. It’s shamefully bad. This game requires too much time, too much money and there is not enough fun to justify any of it. It’s way too predatory.

Kind of like how your WOF gate reason had 0 relevance? They literally even made a thread called "WOF was fun" so you couldn't have been more wrong.
Anyways, my thread has to do with July 4 which is quite literally what they mentioned pushed them to quit

No, but if I'm not mistaken, it was one of OPs goals to be able to reach

Its called being in line groups. There was a screenshot that was posted in 1 i was in , that was dated before the event took place , but ended up being true. Anyways ll leave it at that here not to derail the thread

Chill. It seems like we have lots of drama to see in that upcoming weekend thread. And we also know celestial players aren't a bunch of loyal guys either. Let's see what he posts then we can decide if it is legit or not.

Heavy spending doesn't even get you where it used to.
Thank you for all the opinions and great posts you have contributed to this forum, all the best luck and wishes .
I don't see quitting as necessary for players, neither is competing with the whales at celestial level compulsory
Just play casually at your own pace at your own level, have a bit of fun bullying winter soldier when you have a new rank up or a new champion
Good luck OP.

Sad to see one more comrade to leave. Good luck and enjoy your time off.
