I know this is off topic, but so many young people die these days, with all the so called "advanced medicine" we benefit from.
When I was young, I remember most people dying at the age of 70-80. These day, the range is 40-60. 😐😐

    Rest in peace, Julian.

Dang. We also lost Michael Madsen the day before too. The guy who played Bills brother bud in kill bill.

This sucks. I really liked him as an actor. I first saw him in Charmed way back in the 90's or early 2000's, then he did a great job as Doom in the FF movies (I know they get a bad rap but I liked them, especially the second one), and most recently I've been enjoying him in FBI: Most Wanted where I think he did an excellent job. I haven't seen everything he's done but he was the kind of actor whose work I always found myself drawn back to in one way or another.

Had absolutely no idea he was Australian until I saw reports about his death where they mentioned it. I guess that speaks to his talents as an actor.

i find this funny, as i recall in the 90s and very early aughts how I felt people my age and younger (30s) were dropping off like flies. Not including folks i knew on 9/11 either. this guy was my age, so I'm certainly not taking stuff for granted.

Maybe because so many people these days stuff themselves with whole burgers, pizzas and other stupid stuff and rarely exercises?
Plus food industry is also very very day and night difference.

I rarely eat out unless it's with someone special or friends.
Yeah let's blame the individuals instead of corporates single handedly responsible polluting water, air and land, making everything toxic and unhealthy.

People don't consume fast food because it's tasty, they consume it because it's cheap. Unhealthy food is made cheap, and affordable, while healthy food is not accessible to most.

And also contrary to what people say in general, Life expectancy usually almost always increases, unless there is a major war or pandemic, over the years thanks to advanced medicine.

Rip Julian. You will be remembered.

Horrible news. I was holding out hope for a Doomsday cameo with him.

But seriously, I recognize him most from back on the Charmed series.
The sometimes good, most times evil, Cole. Who paired up with Phoebe.

(of which, why does Milano (Phoebe) have 1 less credit that Piper ?)

Alyssa Milano wasn’t in the Pilot. (well, the first version of the Pilot)

He was more known for his role in Nip & Tuck tbh; but still he was Dr Doom for some of us too.

to add to this here I also want to add involvement with crime (i'm from third world country soo this affect a lot of people here)and the lack of responsibility of people nowdays with social midia and the world around

(I'm not better than most people but even i can point out what they shouldn't be doing that they are doing for dumb reasons)

For me, Julian was first in the series Nip/Tuck. Not a great series but a particular one, to be kept in mind.
Then he was Dr Doom. The first and a great one.

I didn’t know he played in Charmed.

Julian also was shortly in the race for James Bond in Casino Royale in 2005. James Blond won (against Henry Cavill, that would have been perfect).
But Julian had everything for the character: tall, dark hair, blue eyes, charismatic…

We will miss you, Julian. Thank you for these acting performances and rest in peace.
