    Yeah, massive downgrade. It only gets worse in in the second half as now, suddenly there are 2 paths in Quest 4, meaning you have to fight that boss 6 times! That's is even more than in the regular EQ.

    I do agree that this month's Valiant Gauntlet has a terrible design, plus bugs, but they said that they are testing 3 different types of the Gauntlet in the course of 3 months.
    I just hope this one won't be implemented and have one of the first two options being voted as permanent.

    Yeahhhhhh. After doing just the first one, it wasn’t terrible. I only have three problems with it:
    1. I don’t like the fact of having to fight the boss three times with the same node. Kinda dumb and irritating esp when it’s psychoman constantly putting concussion on you
    2. The nodes need to work with who is available in the class required to take in. For example, there’s only a handful of champs that counter evade WELL - in the skill class, so mix master with some pretty potent defenders like spiral don’t go well. It would be different if it was a number of classes so you could bring in champs like bastion with pursuit. I also could not get the AI to throw specials and got backed in the corner way more times than I should have…you know it’s bad when you’re dexing for over two minutes just to get backed in a corner…and I had no idea Okoye had that kind of special reach. Just wasted revives imo at that point.
    3. If they are going to implement reusing a champ, PLEASE TAKE OUT THE STUPID 20% degen - at that point it’s not even worth reusing unless they’re just an absolute nuke or you’re near the end

    This is just my opinion. I understand it’s supposed to be for people with large rosters and valiants (which I am), but at the same time it shouldn’t take over 5 min for a fight.

    I think it was pretty clear that the intent was to not have you reuse the champs
    If that was the intent then why even allow it? Like I said, twas my opinion. And you can’t confidentially tell me you enjoy fighting the same boss with the same nodes 3 times…one of which you have to swap your whole team just for one fight…

    My thought was that it allows you to use synergy teams. That decision makes a little more sense. I'd still prefer if they didn't do the degen but I can at least understand where they're coming from with that.

    The real problem is that it is very much like wheel of fate requiring you to have a big enough roster and the stupid 'Hollow Victory' making it so a champ can't die otherwise everyone else dies and you don't even get healing. Kabam really shouldn't have looked to Wheel of Fate as a inspiration for this one

    The point of the valiant quests is to test your roster. You’re not supposed to be able to do it easily with a weak / small roster. I do t think this format is successful, but I think it’s appropriate for valiant gauntlet to test your roster.

    So every Gamemode is now a check if your roster is wide enough, even those monthly Events? I know, i know the game focuses on whales and people which spent a huge amount of time ingame but would it be so hard to just make monthly content that everybody can enjoy, instead of putting restrictions on every Gamemode especially those stupid Debuffs like degeneration after a Fight has been won? What will be the next big idea? Restrictions when i'm allowed to use a Hero, like from 9-5pm? :)

    Don't you worry about me, my roster is huge enough and my 4th R4 is in sight just from clearing endgame content.

    I just don't like that almost every new content feels overwhelmingly restrictive. If that's your thing good for you and something tells me you don't have to worry that it will change anytime soon.

    Might as well remove all defenders and give us an empty path.
