Am I the only one love the previous AW format?

Am I?

You just fight one defender, and you can take time to do strategy. Not i didn't like the normal AW, but it feel overwhelming, we had to bring 3 defender to deals with 4 opponent in path, and you need more variety to tackle all the node, especially path 9. Then the bosses, you know what i mean. I not that skillful, but i had more fun with the previous AW format which is one by one

Anyway it's just a opinion. And i aware that i not skillful, but still manage to do this

It was very calculated and you could truly plan your defense on each node and make sure you scored points for having different defenders. Once we had it figured out, it was very enjoyable. Only part I didn’t enjoy was not having the one specific counter to a champ on a node. Like Attuma on that regen node - nefaria was pretty much needed - who I literally have been unable to pull for the longest time

It does seem like the majority of players prefer big thing. However the tier 1 players prefer the normal format.

I want the old war format back!! It gave me so much more variety to pick from while having more free time outside the game!

Both formats suck but the 1 and done method is nothing like alliance war.

i totally get how players hate full planning, but big thing was soooo boring. that entire session was a break from the mode and even the game.

do y’all spend on this game so you can do just 1 fight a war? what’s the incentive to spend if you can’t even test your new toys?

what’s more fun, 12 fights a season or 60? you get so much more use out of your rankups with the latter.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm okay with MCoC and Kabam trying to experiment a bit even if we get some clear misses (Valiant Gauntlet this month, looking at you)

I didnt enjoy fighting bishop or redskull on my paths, other than that it was pretty smooth

I agree that the 1 fight war was awesome. We didn’t even enlist this war season because its the old format…stale and not fun. Bring back the 1 fight war!

As a planner, I'm sick of war after 1 week itself.
The time taken to plan is absolutely ridiculous, and then players have to coordinate so much as well.
Potions are an absolute joke and so are many placements unless you have the new champs.

Didn't you complain that your teammates can't do long fights and they kept dying during Big Thing so that's why you hated it?

Had 8 fights including a boss solo this current war. I find this more fulfilling than the 1 fight format.

Yeah, I really liked the new AW format. However, a lot of peeps in my alliance really didn't and were relieved when things reverted back to the regular format. Not quite sure how to square that circle even if I were somehow given the choice as to what format to go with.

questions to those who like big thing war. what's the point of having a roster or spending on deals if you can only use one champ? doesn't it discourage roster growth?

The game isn't just alliance war.
