Why does iceman get coldsnapped by another iceman

They should just counter act each other because he is made of ice🙄 I don’t get the logic they have at kabam headquarters with the release of champs. Electro shouldn’t be able to get shocked or hit with lighting strikes, he should be able to absorb like captain marvel.
