5* Nightcrawler Rank up?

I have the resources to take my unduped 5* Nightcrawler to R3. I only use him on AW defense 2-3 times per week. The ally I'm in is in AW tier 4-5, so the opponents know what they're doing and he typically isn't much of a challenge anymore. I know he's a good attacker because I've had my 4* at 4/40 for months and have used him on quests periodically (basically an alternate for my "C" team when we're running AQ/AW at the same time).

Is he worth taking to R3?

My other 5* mutants are Storm and Blue Cyclops (both unduped).

I could also R5 my 4* Woverine, but I don't really need him since I already have X23 and AA

    Rank him up, he's still a AW defense god
    He’s also a good counter to the Collector if you haven’t done that yet
