Integrate music player into game to play outside music. Yay or nay?

The title is pretty straight forward. Wouldn't it be nice to choose your OWN music to kick ass too? Has the in game music loop driven you to the point of insanity? Have you already turned it off in favor of just hearing the FX (or nothing)? Wouldn't it be bloody BRILLIANT to be able to play some music of your own for a change? Let's try and make this a thing. ;)

    Well you could use outside sources, sure. But to have it worked into the game, that'd be fun IMO.

    The only thing I fear is them adding anything that can make the current gameplay issues worse than they already are. I am definitely fine with sticking to listening through other means.
