attacks not registering/hitting and massive amounts of lag

I don't know if it's because of my device, but I have a Samsung galaxy tab 4 and I play the game on that and Ive been going through a lot of lag during fights since the last update. Also, the final hit of my combo or even any hit will sometimes not register and it won't hit the opponent, allowing them to hit me back. This has prevented me from beating the secret empire quest on master because my attacks won't hit punisher. I've had to restart the quest multiple times and the same issue has happened. Please help, I really enjoy this game and I want to beat the final secret empire quest on master.
