Why is it so hard to find this specific info? Can we get a calendar for the seasons ending or something??

Did you start playing this week? It’s really easy to find.

You have to find one today that hasn’t started matchmaking yet

That info is easy to find however joining before the season ends doesn’t mean you’ll get rewards... there is a cutoff date after which you don’t get season rewards even if you participate.

    5 wars before cutoff.

Ya it seems we passed the cutoff date for recruiting etc which is what we were trying to figure out

There's no date per se, but you must actively participate in at least five wars with the alliance you are in before the end of the season to qualify for season rewards. And those wars must have been fought after the most recent date you joined that alliance. Meaning: if you join an alliance and fight five wars, then leave, then rejoin, you must from that moment fight five wars before the end of the season. The five wars you fought before leaving do not count, even if you did not join any other alliance prior to rejoining.
