Yondu ignoring parry?

I've noticed that Yondo will periodically ignore the opening parry of a match (like an awakened Black Widow). Because the ignore was random, I didn't see it in the rest of the relatively short match (under 10 hits).

I will typically fight against him with Ultron or WW2. The only time I have fought him recently was in HoH. I haven't seen him elsewhere.

You can't parry Yondu's first or third light attacks because they are projectiles, he uses his yaka arrow. To ensure you get a parry stay at a distance and bait him into doing a medium attack.
