Should Champs get an Opponent Synergy?

Spiderman gets a bonus when fighting rhino
Dr strange gets a bonus when fighting dormammu
Etc.

There has to be something for both ways.
I see this could work;

Venom v Carnage.
Both Cosmic. Both pretty even in skill... although Carnage is weaker unless you know how to use him...
If your using Venom and in your team is Agent Venom or Spidey or other +Synergies then the synergy for Carnage should be Tenacity. But Carnage should also get a synergy for fighting that setup like maybe Cruelty or give him a Regen ability.

Anyways goin back to your suggestion, its a pretty good one to add opponent synergies however I feel its not realistic

Not realistic in what way? Coding? I'm not a coding expert by any means, I just think it'd be cool to see a famed opponent of certain Champs have a debuff or something due to always losing the fight in the comics etc.

Not realistic in the sense, if we use Dr. strange against Dormamu it should work both ways right?
How about u get a Bleed debuff for using Dr Strange against Dormamu or u get power lock using Dormamu against Dr Strange, How FUN would that be??!??

I don't think it would. In the case of venom VS. Spidey where there is no clear winner in the comics (for the large majority it just ended in a stalemate) there would be no buff whatsoever. So in essence, no buff for archenemies. Only for enemies that were consistently bested.

Yeah something like that could work, perhaps dormammu would fall into the archenemies category and there would be no buff for either in that case as well. But yeah, alternatively I could get behind both receiving a different buff. Just something that would set the match apart and stand out as being some sort of epic showdown. Maybe even a reward multiplier or an "epic showdown crystal" for a victory?

I thought about this a while ago. I think it would be cool if it was an option. Even if it were in the monthly quest or something. I know they did it once where girls got x amount of damage or something. It would be cool if it were a Spidey and any Sinister Six members got a bonus or stopped evade. Magneto node could be any of the X-Men get a bonus. I don't see it being a complete part of the game like synergies, but I can see it being in a special quest.
