It's fine not to care about the bugs in the game, but I think most would rather them be fixed.

Of course I want them fixed but they haven't hindered my game play in any way

I do think some long time players are faced with a tough choice that has nothing to do with bugs.

The lack of revives leaves some lower skilled players 2 options:

    1. Grind arenas for the units to buy revives
    2. pay real money to buy units for revives

For some players in my alliance, this is not a good place to be. Many people want to simply play AQ and AW with some monthly event questing thrown in. They don't want anything to do with arenas.

I haven't seen anyone quit in my alliance yet, but I'm expecting it to happen in the next couple months. I can already see it coming. It's simply not a sustainable system.

I do a lot of arena grinding but it's for units for LOL or revives if needed. I was told before joining my current alliance that I had to spend of necessary to finish a path on map 6. I was completely fine with that. Players should be in an alliance they are comfortable with. If you can't commit to an alliance then find a new one that meets your expectations.

Please stop spamming all my threads with 'How Great of a Player you are' Please feel free to start your own thread about how you are soooo skilked that in game freezes and crashes don't effect you in the least. This post is about a serious problem that is affecting multiple alliances and asking if others are also experiencing the same and whether or not they have any suggestions on a fix. Sorry I'm not trying to be a jerk I just don't want the thread derailed and shut down because it degenerates and do something like this

Well, there are issues and many are affected. It doesn't help much to add that you're not having issues, but there is some truth to what they're saying.
At the end of the day, we have no control over whether people want to quit or not. In spite of the fact that there are problems, I don't believe those are the sole reasons people are quitting. They're just done in general, and anything will set them off.
I think better screening when joining or starting an Ally is the solution. Talk to people and get to know if they are dedicated to playing or not. If they're hanging on by a thread and at the end of their rope, they're probably not going to stay much longer.

I wasn't responding directly to your post. It was mostly to some of the comments on here. About 90% of the people I know that quit the game did so because of issues in real life not in the game to answer your original post

I'm in an alliance that runs maps 66555 in aq. I haven't once had to spend an item in aq since I joined this alliance. There's opportunities to earn revives on other maps if needed as well as SA. Glory can be used to purchase aq potions. I get that people hate the bugs, but if you're skilled the bugs don't affect you too much. I haven't had any problems with evade issues except on dormamu in aq. I liked the nerfs that were made because some champs were too powerful. I still enjoy this game as much as I did before patch 12.0. If you're a skilled player the bigs barely affect you. Most players in my alliance don't spend items in aq and we spend if we want to in aw. If you can't keep up with 5x5, go find a different alliance

Out of curiosity, what device are you playing on? Because I'm happy for you that you haven't been affected by the bugs, and would like to know if there is a device that will allow me to block properly, parry regularly and basically not get penalised for Kabam bugs.

I had issues with an iPhone 5 but I upgraded to a 7 a few months ago. Gameplay has been a lot smoother plus I never had the crash bug. Other people that I play that have an iPhone 7 haven't had any issues either. I do hate that game developers create updates and new games for the newer versions of phones which causes us to have to upgrade for a better game experience

As far as parrying correctly, I can't parry as well as I used to before the bugs, but I got a lot better at it since the bugs started happening for everyone. I still miss the parry times and sometimes get hit without being able to block. Hope this helps

Mate, with all due respect, you have a roster large enough to handle bugs and not be affected. And when you try playing on Android we'll talk. Because from what I've read you've been playing a bit too much with the units button to be relevant in this case.
  • Deadbyrd9Deadbyrd9 Member Posts: 3,469 ★★★★
What's the units button? If you're implying I buy units, you're wrong. I haven't bought units in over 6 months
  • RiegelRiegel Member Posts: 1,088 ★★★★
I think people are upset you seem to be down playing the bugs. You may have a roster more capable of handling an error at end game, and they may not, or you may simply be more skilled. For those who previously had to buy there way through content this has made it much more expensive. For those who used to not use units they may need them now through no fault of their own.

I haven't bought units in over 6 months proves exactly what I intended to say.

I bought units twice, once on a black Friday deal and once to finish road to the lab. What are you trying to say @SlySly

At this alliance quest season, kabam took off the revives from mark rewards. There are no simple ways to find revives as rewards, so we must buy with units, and it is too expensive. Last season we had at least 1 revive per AQ, wich was a poor but fair prize. but now we don't get it anyway. There are no revives at M5, M6 or AW winner crystals, no revives at the glory shop, and no revives at mark rewards. I liked the new AQ system of tiers, the glory shop and the new shard crystals, but removing revives from prizes I see as a mistake with all players. Very unfair and a dirty way to get our money. I won't spend cash on revives!

There is a way to adjust to this. I say that cause I have been doing it. There are new patterns to fights to make your way through. That being said there is a ton more unavoidable damage I feel I need to take.

For example if facing hood in aq, if he has his l1 and I am baiting, if I am not at least 1 full dash back before he triggers the l1 I can not risk dashing back a 2nd time. If I do and my champ freezes I am basically dead. So I block and take a decent amount of damage but survive.

This is just one example but ultimately is the game for me today. I have not had to revive once in aq but have used many pots I should not have. The game is broken and it comes down to how willing you are to adjust and accept
