At least make hawkeye arrow from sp1 & sp2 something that evaders can’t evade. You know how good he is at shooting arrows. Or add passive true strike on hawkeye. So i can r4 my 5*version and slay medusa autoblock 😒
Abomination,............the worst hero in MCOC or at lease one of them......he makes me puke when i see him and i sell him off when he pops up on any star level......yuk he needs to be pulled from the MCOC list of hero's period !!!
Anyone remember when Joel Line did "Champ Refresh" videos on his channel on Youtube? He had a few great ideas of how to improve older champions that was more than just improving damage or block proficiency.

I never saw them. How long ago was it? Sounds like back in the block proficiency days.

Oh yeah, it was Joel Line - I thought it was Prof Hoff. But yea, I remember he had some great ideas like Iron Patriot with flamethrowers as one of his specials. Colossus with Concussion and Indestructible Charges or something.

Not true strike; but possibly true accuracy. Also, (not that HE really needs a buff), why did Kabam never put Incinerate on his SP2?.
Finally got word on the new Carnage and Venom buffs... @Ad0ra_ do you guys have any plans to make these champion updates more frequent in the future? 8 months between updates seems like an awfully long time. Even if that was just cut in half and it was every 4 months it would be so much better. Either way, I'm super excited to see how these champs are after an update, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get a beta test invite.
I know there’s a permanent “Wish list” thread for new champs, but it would be cool to also have the same thing for updates to old, stale champs. Does there exist any “schedule” of updates? I know they are going by class, have they said which one is next? That would drive some excitement for sure. Not asking for a time frame, just a “hey after cosmic it is skill then mutant then...”
This post is months old yet still VERY relevant. OP hit the nail square on the head. Fact is, so many of these new champs make old ones look like tinker toys. They have placed time into this, just not NEARLY enough. Even a bi-monthly old champ buff would be VERY welcomed by the playerbase. No question about it. So many pinnacle Marvel characters were released and are now relatively useless. The greatest example of this for me is Wolverine. He should be FAR MORE USEFUL than he currently is.
However, with the way the game is constantly seeing new content, it would be difficult to squeeze in old champ buffs at regular intervals. Everything requires thought, testing, and a whole lot of time overall. It would take a whole team devoted to this cause to get it done right. As it stands, it is a LOT to ask when you take their overall scheduling into consideration. I do agree that it would help, be very welcomed, and create more balance in the game. Just seems like it's also VERY far off.
I don't understand why they have to have a beta for old champ updates. If they can release overpowered new champs without any input from the community, why can't they just push through some improvements to old champs without all the jumping through hoops and feedback and stuff?
Good post. I 100% agree that older characters need to be buffed. I mean look at Domino and IM IW then look at champs like cyclops, rhino and Kamala Khan, the difference is out of this world.
You guys are forgetting one thing though, why would kabam buff old champions? By doing so people wouldnt be as hungry to get the new champs. So its simple, make each new champ 10x better than original characters and people will want them so bad they spend.
Its sad, but its the way it is. I read somewhere from a former employee that "if it doesnt make Kabam money, they dont even want to hear it."

Hey peeps. Appreciate the feedback and it's true that some of our older Champs need some attention! But it's not true to state that we have entirely ignored the older Champions. A few that we have directly worked on:
Winter Soldier
Magik
Spider-Gwen
Luke Cage
Red Hulk
In other instances, adjustments or improvements we make to the game positively impact older Champions as well. An example of this would be Karnak - he became better when we made True Strike counter Auto Block.
Does this mean that all of these above Champions are exactly where we want them to be? No. Are there other older Champions we want to revisit? Yes, absolutely. It's true that developing new features and new content in order to keep The Contest fresh and exciting is a big priority for us, but we do want to and like to make improvements to existing content as well. In the instance of Luke Cage and Red Hulk, we ran a beta test. We recently ran a Mystic Dispersion beta test, but we do have a good idea of what we want our next 'existing Champion refresh' beta to be. While I can't share the specifics of that just yet because we don't have the timeline nailed down, I am looking forward to the day where we can share more on that front
My problem is how they are intentionally putting these lackluster champs into the 6* featured surely they know 6 months of grinding is not worth a 6* hulkbuster

I say Doc Strange and Thor
yea? Look how good that worked out for nascar

That's what they've been doing. They need to update them faster.

Kabam is greedy plain and simple...nothing more
