Help changing alliance invite privacy

Hello.

I was able to get a member in while the alliance was closed. Now when I send an invite people say they cant join because alliance is "closed". I don't know how that one member was able to join while the alliance was close but now I need to know how to change it to "by request". I am an officer btw.

    A leader has to change that. It is accessed via the edit alliance banner button.

    I was promoted to leader and can access the alliance banner screen, but can't change the privacy to by request. I've tried clicking on the arrows, but nothing changes. What am I doing wrong?

    This function is bugged since the new update rolled out

    No idea when it's gonna get fixed

    Hopefully next update?

    So whatever the issue was back then, ** IS NOT ** what the issue is now.

    Which, fyi if you haven’t seen the numerous other posts, is currently bugged, preventing leaders from changing Ally Status this month.
